by the Royal Belgian Football Association after the 1986 World Cup took place there.

I noticed that she looked seven times into her notes.

But it's understandable - first speech is always very stressful, even for the adult person, let alone for a 10-year old child.

Today, September 8, Crown Prince Philippe has received Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang
for a meeting at the Laeken Royal Palace in Brussels.

I thinks she did it very good. :flowers:
She is just a child and then speaking in front of a room with so many press people focussing only on you. For the first time this was excellent.

I liked to see the princess in his first official act!
It seemed to me very well, good posture, she is very beautiful... I think I am repeating myself but I she still reminds me a lot to her grandmother, the Queen. I would like to see them together :)

I love the video of Princess Elisabeth's first speech. She is so cute. I'm sure she will be a great monarch in the future! And her parents looked so proud.

Just saw the clip via my twitter, and I think Elisabeth did a fabulous job. She was very poised, and sounded confident. Her voice is very sweet as well.

It is worth to mention that President Komorowski is a paternal sixth cousin of Countess Anna Maria d'Udekem d'Acoz, nee Komorowska, the mother of Princess Mathilde. Their common paternal ancestor is Franciszek Antoni Komorowski (1723-1800). Franciszek hr. Komorowski z Komorowa (M.J. Minakowski, Genealogia potomków Sejmu Wielkiego)

I am sure they know about their blood relation, but I wonder if that affects in any way on their relations and contact, as it was during the recent event. Did they greet each other like family, by kissing cheeks or they were formal, like a crown princess and a foreign head of state?

about the language, she is speaking dutch because they are in the dutch speaking zone right? but at home they speak french, right? i remenber i saw a video of the family annual vacations and they were speaking french to each other
