@BBCPeterHunt: I got it wrong earlier -- no helicopter landed at Buck Palace. A military one passed by possibly on way to Wellington Barracks. #RoyalBaby

I have a feeling we will have an announcement within the next 2 hours. :flowers:

Apparently there was no helicopter at BP

I know it is not but it seems like the longest wait ever.....

This baby is really taking its time!

I don' t think that she already is in the stage of pushing
This morning she was in the very first stage of labour. (minor contractions)

We don't know that. She could have labored at home for awhile before going in and may have chosen to

I don't think so!
I would not be too surprised, when this baby would even be born on Wednesday.
If you have mild contractions the process of birthing will take its time.
I would sign for two days of mild contractions and then have a smooth and quiet birth.

Having heavy contractions is an other story

It is possible that she can walk about 24-36 hours from such minor contractions.
Anyway she has been in labour for about 12-13 hours. Until 18 it is considered as normal.

And minor contractions can become major contractions very quickly. Every childbirth is different, so we really have no idea.

Oh for goodness sake! Im am going nuts here. Maybe I should go shopping for an hour or so instead of being totally obssessed with being on the computer and watching the tele for any news. Im out of control. Hurry little one, hurry! :)

So, that's probably baby Cambridge will be a Leo

I've just seen a car pulling up. My heart stopped for a second, but it wasn't IT. Ehhhh...

My livestream decided to die on me when those doors open and a car pulled up. I very nearly had a heart attack and a panic attack.

The first labour especially without inducing can last and last and last. Catherine might be only in the middle of a second stage.

what a pressure there must be on kate right now. giving birth must be hard enough, plus on top of that she can surely hear the roaring of the crowds screaming and the press talking outside, in general she must be having this impression of making people wait.
or maybe her suite is far enough from the street and she is actually having a peaceful wait.

''noo! I have a waterbed and free meals!'

Max Foster was on CNN a few minutes ago and made it sound like the royal announcement carrier would not try to be covert at all. If that's true, it may become the most tweeted car trip on record. He'd have to have an escort, otherwise his car would be mobbed given the number of people watching. So people along the route would know it was something special. Interesting.

E online posted this saying that if Hyde Park were closed midnight to 5 the royal couple would have to route around it to get to the hospital. That's another reason the early AM arrival happened as it did (maybe): Royal Baby Road Map: Inside Kate Middleton's Route From Kensington Palace to St. Mary's Hospital | E! Online

Finally, let me point out the the POPULAR TAGS function on the forums (on the right hand side of the page) is so inaccurate that it drives me crazy. Thank you all for letting me vent that. ;)

A peaceful and soundproof too.

is there a language rule here? < ed Warren >
Indeed there is, unsurprisingly.

I think that with all the pain surrounding a baby birth, I don't think that Kate is worrying about journalists or the public.
Other thing: when the name will be revealed? Soon after the announcement of the birth or days after?

And I am still saying 23rd July. Seems I could be right. Lol

Will it took a month with Charles name. Does anyone know why it took so long?

The name could be revealed the same day, a day or so later or even a month later. There's really no telling. Hopefully it'll be soon after though, but we've been told it won't be announced with the birth announcement.

i'm pretty sure at this very moment someone is thinking up a comedy-sketch featuring those two security guards at the live-feed :)

True, labor is different for different people. I had my daughter after only 10 hours total from the first signs of labor to the birth, but my sister labored for almost 24 hours, with the last six being the worst I had ever witnessed.

We can just wait and pray at this point, since they won't be giving us "push-by-push" updates.

My son took forever!!!! and I was induced, so this could be a long wait, I really hope not because I cant stand it any longer.:bang::ROFLMAO:
I hope she has a easy normal delivery, with drugs of course!!
Push Kate Push!!!
