Charlene had plastic surgery?... it throws the fact that her plastic surgery up front was a bit excessive right in your face:

She's wearing a 50s style cocktail dress, so a typical Grace Kelly hairdo could have been the right idea, but...
...BUT the hairstyle is executed very badly, the dress is more 50s Monroe than 50s Kelly, it comes in a very weird wet-looking fabric, it does not fit well, and it throws the fact that her plastic surgery up front was a bit excessive right in your face:

I have always said "threadbare " Charlene- she reminds of Vegas. and not Monaco. It has been numerous years and the mistakes continue- Norell said when in doubt wear a skirt and blouse with sleeves and Cw could have worn a chiffon blouse and skirt and how about some earrings of any kind?I'm not sure what's going on with Charlene. Just when I think she looks stunning, she pulls out an inappropriate dress and sandals. I just think it's too revealing. Is she trying to be seen or something?
I didn't say us women are a clock, I said we are on a clock. You've never heard of the saying, "her biological clock is ticking"? It was meant as a joke. No need to admonish me.Considering Charlene has a big age difference with pa that is quite a "sexist" statement.
A woman as a clock?
unacceptable.
Not liking this dress. Too tight, too blue, too something. Just not a good look for a woman that has such a great body.Charlene and prince Albert at a gala hosted by Lancia, "Black Moon Benefit Gala" For Mandela Foundation.

I see no elegance in this, just "Hollywood". I like her hairdo though.

This is somewhat 50"s but it does not remind of Ceil Chapman who designed for Monroe. The hairdo with the amateurish dippity do curl is more fourties than fifties.Cw's eyebows need definition and the dress is too short. It looks like a " slip" it needs a jacket or shrug of some kind. I get the feeling that Cw thinks she is "sexy" in these outfits and that is not what is called for at all. I wonder if she will ever wear sleeves ever except on a coat of somekind? THis dress would have looked much better with a chiffon scarf thrown across the neck backwards.
Cw has big feet and from the side the plastic surgery on the chest makes it look like a shelf.........Liz Hurley antithetically looked fab.. .
Imo she looks like she tries too hard, the dress doesn't fit her in breast area, and the length of the dress is awkward. The hair is awful but better than in the last event.
She looks like a Hollywood c-list, not A-list at all, so she doesn't even get the Hollywood glam well
Not necessarily Boris. She could be wearing a good push-up bra. And now you can even buy dresses with it built in.I'm very sorry, but I find the photographic evidence obvious and hard to ignore. Therefore I would not define it as 'speculation' at all.

Finally a gown that is perfect on Charlene. She looks spectacular. This gown even gives her a waist although it does look like she has been slimming down. Her hair is fabulous and chic and she reminds of the model Jean Patchett from the fifties a bit.
I think she looks great in this outfit as well.. I luv the straight skirt.................and that Cw is more elegant as time passes.I see Cw developing her own style .. great!Charlene and prince Albert at a gala hosted by Lancia, "Black Moon Benefit Gala" For Mandela Foundation.

I disagreed politely about the use of the word clock in general.......I have not admonished you at all. as I have not used counsel, caution or reproof just disagreed. I disagreed that we are on a clock and that we are ticking.simply.It was planted as a 'joke"I didn't say us women are a clock, I said we are on a clock. I love the color and cut, but in this dress her shoulders seem to be very wide more than her hips. She should try to find other cut of the gown and she will be look perfect.
