In 2013 Harry and his then GF (cousin Eugenie's good friend Cressida) joined his godfather's family for their annual Verbier ski trip.
In 2015 Harry joined his cousins Beatrice and Eugenie for a Verbier ski trip.
Can someone please list all of these other vacations that Harry has joined the York's on? I don't remember any - but I'm getting old and perhaps have forgotten.

There has been a few trips to Necker Island. Also Harry and the Yorks vacationed together in Sotogrande, Spain in Sept 2013 as well as Aug 2014. Harry and Eugenie also went to Angola together for a safari in 2013. You can make an argument that Harry, Beatrice, and Andrew vacationed together in Abu Dhabi last year.

Also to the previous poster. William and Harry's "bike trip" was actually a charity ride in Africa. Harry was there for Sentebale and William was there for Tusk Trust.
I don't count hunting weekends at estates with large groups of mutual friends to be family vacations. But perhaps I should.

I think there are more opportunities for William, Catherine and George and Harry to socialise together in private away from the cameras, they live in the same Palace complex after all. I think its clear the brothers get on well and we can't just judge relationship on how often we see people photographed together.

I think they get on reasonably well too, I just think Harry is much closer to the Yorks.
We didn't see them socialize much when they weren't at the same Palace complex though. I'm hesitant to believe proximity has changed much. When the Cambridges were in Anglesey the Middletons visited all the time including Alex Loudon. Their friends visited(the Van Customs, the Jardine-Pattersons, the Aubrey-Fletchers, the van Straubenzees, the Meades, etc). To my knowledge Harry never visited. And it's not because Harry hates to travel.

Ok. Back on topic.

Several posts have been deleted that ignored soapstar's request to go back to the topic, which is about current events and not relationships within the Royal Family.

If I got a dollar for every time the daily mail is mention here I wouldn't be going to work on Monday.
So it's pretty important to some people

The Daily Mail is pretty much the only newspaper that consistently has the royals in an article or on it's front page. It's where us on this forum get to see the most pictures, where stories are usually published first etc. Without the Dailymail and most journo's we would barely here or see any royals worldwide, if we relied on official information and official pictures we'd see them barely anytime. If posters didn't post DailyMail articles, nobody in the British Forums would have anything to talk about.

That doesn't mean however the DailyMails opinion of Beatrice being a "benefit scrounger" is reflected by everyone who posts a dailymail article.

You still haven't mentioned how people's view of The Queen is somehow altered by how people view Beatrice? The two are completely separate people.

No doubt the hand-wringers will now criticize Philip for this given the current allegations around Andrew - but another 'birthday' present or 'show of support' for Andrew from his parents - despite the fact that this would have been in the planning stage literally for months.

I've developed an on/off drivel switch. V useful, particularly when faced with UK media.

The Countess of Wessex and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester are attending a service for the Reinterment of Richard III on 26th March.

A what?
Wonder if Robert Hardy will be there. He's pretty into Richard III.

^^^^
Reinterment means his remains will essentially be reburied in Leicester Cathedral.

Prince Richard is Patron of the Richard III Society so I understand why he is attending with his wife but it's odd to see Sophie going. She is perhaps representing the Queen or she is just interested in Richard's history.

She is really into Richard III too. One of her interests.

Not only is the Duke of Gloucester Patron of the Richard III society but Richard III was, like the present Duke, Prince Richard - Duke of Gloucester.

On 9th March The Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, & Prince Philip will attend the Commonwealth Observance in @wabbey. Prince Charles, The Duchess of Cornwall & The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will also be in attendance.

^I'm looking forward to seeing them all at that event. I wonder if any other royals will be in attendance?

On February 24th, William, Kate and Harry attended a dinner at Kensington Palace for their Royal Foundation.

Sorry quoting myself. :p But what is this mass for exactly? What is Commonwealth observance? Is it something annual and does it correlate to this date in some way? :p (Sorry, I have no clue)

I like that the main senior royals are attending the Commonwealth Observance at Westminster Abbey.

Ok, thanks. I thought it was something like that. Had William and Kate gone before?

No, this will be their first time attending. I had wondered why they didn't attend in the past, but I guess the most important thing is they're attending now.

It is rare for any of the other royals to attend other than The Queen, Philip, Charles and Camilla. The Commonwealth Observance Day - whatever that is anyway (I only learnt it ever happened when I joined this site as there is no such acknowledgement in this Commonwealth country that makes the news - the Commonwealth to most Aussies simply means the four yearly Commonwealth Games and nothing more).

It is nice to see the Cambridges attending. The Wessex's went last year but I thinkbthar was because it was Edward's birthday. Rare, as iluvbertie said, for others to attend. The Cambridges are likely attending as Catherine's last engagement before she goes on maternity leave.

The Wessex's usually attends every year with The Queen & Duke of Edinburgh and Charles and Camilla. It's good that William and Catherine are starting to attend now.
