i love seeing events like this one with royals interacting! and for such a good cause!
it's nice to see the support from the queen's also: sofia, beatrix and paola. although wouldn't it have been nice if letizia, maxima and mathilde were there as well!
first event for jonas and daniel? very good to see them there with their lovely girlfriends. victoria looks so happy with daniel by her side!

yes it's a great cause, unfortunately the "royal gathering" = dressed up royal women and a male fiancee are the sole focus - why did they meet again? sadly the event un children's convention anniversary is taking a backseat re coverage.

Calling grown men "boys" is just as insulting and inappropriate as calling the royal ladies "girls".

'We' could either see it for what it is, and in my opinion it was meant with no ill intent, or 'we' could make it out to be something it is not.

I'm sure magnik is well aware the respective gentleman are not 'boys', rather, used the term in refference to their sex.

I think English is their language.

I think English would be the language they speak in, as all or most of them will know it to some extent. Of course, Queen Paola and Queen Beatrix may speak in German or French between each other (same for other Royals), but when talking with a large group of people, English will most probably be the preferred language.

Mette Marit as always the worst dressed

It was great to see that the Sweden Princesses had been joined by their future husbands at this event.

As usual royal ladies such as Mary, Madleine and Victoria looked great. At Mette Marit wear another horrible outfit which includes black stockings. She looked like her own grandmother .I hope she did get some tips from Mary this time. When Mette Marit will finally look for a fashion stylist. Also if you have some pounds more one can cloth very tastefully. Also if you are not born in royal circles one can learn some important things when you are reprensting a county. Unfortunately Mette Marit decided that the first impresion and the arise you have from her is: Peasent Woman.

The Scandinavian languages (apart fom Finnish) sound very similar and they understand each others languages well.
So I guess MM spoke Norwegian, Mary Danish and Victoria/Madeleine/Silvia spoke Swedish with each other.
I guess they all spoke English with the Queens Beatrix, Sofia and Paola.
