    The funny thing is that the Queen is probably the Royal Family member least likely to face criticism for living it up a little. Besides, friends were going to pay for it. She should have had a nice little do... the whole world loves the Queen.

    The image of Princess Anne toward the top of the first page of this thread makes her look surprisingly like Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna, youngest sister of the last Tsar, during her post-European exile in Canada. By the way, does anyone know why she and her husband picked Canada?

    It must be Greek tradition. Even though Marina married into the British Royal Family, an institution (as she surely noticed) that has been marked by many great kings but just as many powerful women.

    It is disgraceful that Alexandra only has one tiara, and not even a family heirloom. She gets the Order of the Garter but can't get a royal tiara with some royal provenance?
