Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

Carriage? No, Olga said it was on the train:(and note Olga says nothing of not being present, YOU added that part) …The mistakes she made could not be all attributed to lapses of memory. For instance, she had a scar on one of her fingers and she kept telling everybody that it had been crushed...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

Who remembered it correctly? Who knows? There are even differences on where it was supposed to have happened. I agree with what Olga said, that somebody vaguely remembered it but relayed it incorrectly to AA. She may not have been present when it happened, but she knew which niece had a...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

Olga A. I have never seen the term 'trailing one foot' before, but she did indeed do that, with a terrible limp, dragging one leg behind the other with difficulty, after her 1915 train accident. This is very well documented, including in her own book "Memories of the Russian Court." You say...

2009 Identification of the remains found in July 2007

If comparisons have been done, I hope the results are released soon. If they haven't been, I hope they will be. Of course, nothing is going to satisfy those who claim the tests were rigged by the Russian gov't, Queen, or other unnamed bogeymen out to 'discredit AA.'

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

I have wondered if perhaps the person(s) giving AA her info got some things mixed up, such as the finger incident which was Maria and not Anastasia. Anna V. had a terrible limp after her 1915 train accident, and with or without the use of a crutch, 'trailed one foot.' This is the kind of thing...

2009 Identification of the remains found in July 2007

Yes, they DO have enough DNA, the tests have been completed in multiple labs and they prove a male and a female who were both children of N and A were burned in that pit. Perhps they are looking for more fragments, how horrible it would be to leave some body parts out there! Or maybe they think...

2009 Identification of the remains found in July 2007

Maybe you don't understand. The reason I think so is because it has already been tested against the DNA from the bones, which were tested against relatives, and it didn't match. This means the blood on the shirt either wasn't his, or it was contaminated. Since it had been sitting around for 100...

The Children of Tsar Nicholas II ("OTMAA")

Thank you for all the beautiful pictures Anastasia evidence! Some had never seen before. It's so nice, but sad, to see into the private moments of their lives.

Could Nicholas II have changed the Imperial Succession?

When I first got into the Romanovs when I was 12, I used to fantasize about going back in time and saving them- by giving them a copy of "Nicholas and Alexandra" so they could see what they did wrong and stop it. Since they believed in Rasputin and the supernatural and mysticism, I don't think...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

You choose to believe who you want. The other accounts tell a very different story. Even Faith Lavington, who had been in favor of AA, had her faith shaken by the incidents. She told it honestly in her diary. Both Lavington and the paper reporter declared AA yelled out angrily 'that thing must...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

But by defending AA as being AN, you are making allegations that the DNA tests are wrong. For if they are not, (and they aren't) you have on case and nothing else matters. Think one more time of the improbability of all these switches: the intestines, the hair, and the bones in Russia. Sorry...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

But she wasn't paranoid from being afraid of Bolsheviks, she was paranoid of getting caught in her charade pretending to be AN! And meeting someone once as a little kid does not make you an accurate judge.

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

I think it woud be embellishing to change the story to say she wasn't upset to see Doris. Nope, the picture you use is a painting, or drawing, and it looks nothing like AA, FS or AN. The picture that made the girl's heart sink was the photo. Here's the difference: Left: real photo, center...

That is AA. This sounds like AA as well as some of her supporters. Thanks for your knowledgeable insight.

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

If you defend the 'real' story, you'd defend the DNA results. I do not have their book, I had to borrow it on an interlibrary loan and it's gone back. My library doesn't have it. If you have access to it, check the footnotes yourself. No one ever said Tatiana had blue eyes. Olga and Bux...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

Are you accusing them of falsifying information? Okay, one more time- you claim the picture of FS was 'retouched' to look like AA. This means you apparently admit it looks like AA. However, it does NOT look like AN, which means that AA does not look like AN. Right? Here is a post you made...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

How about Massie's account (again!) Romanovs: The Final Chapter page 180, ... Mrs. Tchiakovsky (AA) faced with charges of assuming a false identity, had no choice. According to a writer for the Berlin Nachtausgabe, who was present with Martin Knopf, this is what happened: The witness, Fr...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

Every single post of yours defends that position. Here we go again! I have posted this numerous times, do you really not remember, have you blocked it out, or are you trying to annoy me? the conduct of the people who surrounded Madame Tchiakovsky seemed to me very suspect. They intervened all...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

According to A Romanov Fantasy, pages 133-134, Faith Lavington wrote in her diary of AA's meeting with Wingender that she found AA's treatment of Doris (pointing and shrieking in German 'that must get out!') very suspicious, writing "one would hardly treat some unknown person in such a fashion."...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

You don't? In every single post? You mean the guy who said 'the people who surround her are very suspect...make excuses for her mistakes under the pretext she was 'ill'.. You mean the one who identified her as TATIANA, then switched when AA did? She obviously didn't know either girl well...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

It's pretty obvious to all who follow your posts. Until you can give us a reason why the DNA tests are not accurate and the bones have not really been found, you really do have no case to continue to say AA is AN. And this is not an opinion but reality.
  23. Anna was Franziska

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

No, there are no more questions as to her being AN, she's not. The only questions left are how FS pulled it off and who all helped her. No, ! do not believe you don't care if AA is AN or not, and to you, the story is only 'straight' if it's telling AA's side. You disregard everything else...

Anna Anderson's claim to be Grand Duchess Anastasia

The proof is that as FS she was declared insane, and as AA had mental issues all her life. In the stories I posted yesterday it told how she had been put in a mental ward by her court appointed guardian and her husband kidnapped her and went on the lam because he was afraid she'd be sent to a...
