Prince Louis and Sons, News and Events, Part 1: April 2019 - present

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
If their mother was involved I’m not surprised the fullest possible form of their titles was used. I saw the boys have both received awards for their hardwork for humanity or some such thing- clearly not for actual work as both as lovely mannered, caring lads but ultimately just boys still at school another “bought” award

What a world that has become, where you can "buy" awards and influencers. That leaves the question what we can believe and what is just fake.
And yes, sure their mother was involved, she also got that medal , just another one to add to her excessive long public profile which is on Insta, facebook, twitter, TikTok, Linkedin and maybe even more platforms which we don't yet know about.

Interesting. I saw that too and I found it a bit strange that both sons read their speach from their mobile. And I am asking myself for what did they get this award?
Both are still in an expensive boarding school in GB, 18 and 17 years old. I really dont knwo what those boys have done in the past in terms of helping underprivileged people etc., to get an award?

The "Parliamentary Society" is one of those numerous private initiatives under the label "doing good things for arts, sports". So dont get impressed that they are speaking in UK parliament. There are many other private initiatives who can speak there. The NHS for instance.

But if you closely look into it, it is just a bunch of people who want to be important, and at the same time selling their stuff, arts, fashion .

It is all her narcissistic mother's doing and I am really sorry that Louis as father doesn't care more about his sons and trying to prevent that those really nice boys are under the total influence of their exaggerating and narcissistic mother.
If you look at Tessy's Instagram you will see that she is presenting herself as a designer of clothes, a childrens book author (bestselling, which is not true at all), a business woman, entrepreneur, getting all kinds of silly and unimportant awards for peace, doing social works and what not!

There must be a whole scene of such people who just celebrate themselves with galas and dinners and presenting each attendant an award, like recently at the "Creative Women Society" in Dubai". Every single woman that attended got an award, a cheap little plastic thing, for what? Because they have a job and doing their job. They don't change the world, they don't prevent wars or going into poor areas and help people to get a better life.
They are just celebrating themselves with dinners and galas and expensive clothes.
It makes me so furious that those people get attention. I know that galas like the Red Cross Ball and other charity events are important for attracting rich people who will donate.
Fine with me what the Monaco family does in that field.
But see the difference.
Sorry for that long sermon, but it has really made me mad for a long time and just had to write this.
I hadn't know about that before I worked myself off about Tessy. Don't ever believe anything she is posting. This woman cannot get enough of attention and is using everything to get it. But all of it under the pretence of being important and there for the underprivileged and poor. But it is just word salad she is preaching. No wonder she was kicked out of Professors Without Borders, because that is a NGO which really is working.
I cannot think of any ex royal member who is still making such a fuss about her children. She is married again, has a small child and still running around in the world and trying to be important. This is just sick IMO

Here is a link to the "Parliament Society"

I am not saying that this NGO doesn't have good issues on their agenda, but all of what I have seen and read about what they really do has disappointed me. That is the reason why I am suspicious.
Yes I saw that and Tessy described it as her sons receiving an award from "parliament in parliament" for their decade of charity work (?). I knew she was twisting something. Its yet another organization selling awards to d listers.

Its a shame the boys are getting roped into her weasely doings.

She really has no shame.

I noticed that at the "speach" of Princes Gabriel and Noah at the "Parliamentary Society", which again, doesn't mean that they spoke in Parliament. This NGO just rented a room there for their event.
There was a cardboard name in front of them saying "Prince Gabriel of Nassau, prince of Bourbon Parma".
This is the first time that I saw any member of GDC to use the "Bourbon Parma" title. Maybe someone who has better knowledge about titles if that is a validate title to use for members of the Lux royal family. And if so, I wonder why other family members aren't using it.
Interesting observation and question. I answered in the Luxembourg Succession & Titles-thread to avoid derailing this thread.

The "Parliamentary Society" looks to have little substance to it - its all about fashion, art and sports which is fair enough but I don't see any real link to Parliament at all. They've simply hired a space in the palace of Westminster it seems - interesting that all 3 - Tessy and her boys all got awards. Make me think, to be frank, the boys got theirs simply for their royal titles.

Tessy has also replied quite defensively when someone asked on instagram why they got an award, shows her level of maturity IMO.

What has he done exactly? I’m curious.

tessy_from_luxembourg :
since they are very small they have donated money to refugee and orphanage houses, have worked with schools and young children, have traveled with me to rural areas to work with me, have cooked for public holidays for homeless people and distributed their food to them, have worked with young youth. and you?

I haven’t gotten an award from anywhere… I was genuinely curious about what sets them apart from other youths who do volunteer work. No need to be defensive.

Normally, when individuals / organizations receive an award, there is a bio of some sort to explain their work.

tessy_from_luxembourg

yes thats true:) but my kids are barely 18. they are still writing their adult bio in the next years:)

not at all. i always ask what others do when they ask me that question. Its kind of normal for me. comparing notes. but sorry u felt its offensive. thats on you 🙏

Thank you for posting this. Her answers are revealing. I have never seen critical or negative posts on her Instagram. Either she deletes them right away or I can't see them because I am not a "follower". I noticed though that she cannot stand criticism at all, her reactions are always very defensive and often really mean.
It must be hell to be around this person 24 hours a day.

I also didn’t realise that Tessy was now a dame. When did this happen or is it another of her imaginary awards?

Oh yes- she was made a Dame of the Royal Order of the Drum...from that well known royal house of Rwanda whose current head lives on a housing estate in Manchester, UK.

This article gives you an idea of why the current "King" might not be as recognised as much as you might thing...oh and talks about how the previous King made money through the sale of Knighthoods ;-)

The defensiveness says it all.

What is her end game here though?

She can’t hope to monetize the boys, there is no market for privileged kids doing some minimal charity work.

If she was in the USA I would guess that this was a misguided attempt to puff up their college applications. Admission counselors aren’t filled by this nonsense anymore and every senior at a private high school has done as much or more volunteer work. Usually with an actual focus showing some sort of a life plan.

Someone should let her know that royalty gives out awards. They don’t accept them.

Each award or honor from a z list organization degrades her. Just like the online degrees from suspect universities makes her look insecure.

Let's take a look at her sons achievements:
since they are very small...
* they have donated money to refugee and orphanage houses --> they had rich parents who made sure money was donated in their name
* have worked with schools and young children --> what does this even mean 'worked with schools'?
* have traveled with me to rural areas to work with me --> were privileged that their mother took them on trips to different parts of the world
* have cooked for public holidays for homeless people and distributed their food to them --> like many others they joined some initiatives aimed to help the less fortunate at public holidays (and make those helping out feel good about themselves?)
* have worked with young youth --> is this the same as the previously mentioned work with schools and young children? Rather vague but hopefully somewhat meaningful.

Everything Tessy mentions her sons having done to deserve their "Legacy of Change Medals" is the sort of thing any private school (indeed any school) in the UK worth its salt would be encouraging its pupils to do, especially ahead of University applications to show commitment, charitable endeavours, care for others, serving the local community etc.

I'm not getting down on the boys, they seem lovely young men who do care for others and seem to be in part using their privilege for good, but accepting (or being encouraged by their mother to accept) awards from less than reputable organisations just makes them look like D list celebrities and suggests they are less noble than they should be IMO.

Goodness. The person who replied to Tessy sure did make the self described proud "mother of two princes" feel a bit touchy.🙄

I had thought that Tessy settling in to a second marriage and starting a new family would be a game changer for her. But it looks like not much has changed at all.

She still outs herself as petty and indiscreet from time to time so that nobody forgets.
