Shaikh Majid wins Italy FEI ride; 13 June 2006
DUBAI — Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum won the prestigious FEI ride at Castiglione del Lago, Italy. As dawn broke over this historic town 21 riders set out to tackle this 160km course.
It was over a similar route to the 2001 Open European Championship. Both Shaikh Rashid and Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, who finished first and second in this championship, were amongst the start list but both failed to finish as did their other brother Shaikh Ahmed.

From the start Shaikh Majid held the lead alongside Antonio Rosi, an Italian Champion. As the ride progressed the temperature increased and the pace slowed. By the end of the fifth stage with just 16.7kph to go the leading duo had been joined by Mohammed Al Shafar and Italians Fabrizio Leonardelli and Marta Spazzedeschi who was the last of the five riders who finished.

Royal Ascot

Everybody u all know that the ROYAL ASCOT is finish and god
none of the GODOLPHIN horses won. well Sheikh Rashid, Sheikh Mohammed
and sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid horses won but still i think Sheikh mohammed
embarrass so he didn't attend the last 2 days of the ROYAL ASCOT maybe i not sure but really these horses are very very good but still, in my opinion if they let Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed horse to race i think they will win something
well just GOODLUCK next year to GODOLPHIN horses
