Loved her bouquet....finally a proper bouquet!

I believe it will be placed on the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior today or tomorrow as per royal tradition.

That is such a lovely tradition started all those years ago by the Queen Mum and continuing to this day - just short of the 100th anniversary of the end of the fighting in that awful first war.
 
What were the flowers that were in Princess Eugenie's bridal bouquet?

The flowers was Lily of the Valley, Stephanotis pips, hints of baby blue thistles, white spray roses and trailing ivy. The bouquet also includes sprigs of myrtle from Osbourne House.

^eya, Thank you for the information. A sprig of myrtle has usually been in every British royal bride's bouquet.
 
I was hoping that her bouquet included white "York" roses and I was not disappointed! ?
 
I actually would’ve loved to see a bouquet of fall flowers to match the greenery along the steps but I get the significance and the bouquet was pretty. It seems the bouquets of late among the British princesses have been rather small.
 
Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg's cascading bouquet of white orchids was beautiful. The bouquet complimented the nearly 3,000 blooms that filled Our Lady of Luxembourg Cathedral.
 
A great close up of the gold floral bouquet used by most of the Brunei royal brides at the wedding of Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Hafiyyah binti Pengiran Maharaja Lela Sahibul Kahar Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammad Yusof and Awangku Muhammad Aizat bin Pengiran Haji Yasmin this past weekend.

was this her bouquet? Dont really like the colours, they seem more for an autumnal event.. too much purply stuff...
 
it looks more like for an autumn or winter wedding.. Perhaps it was just an arrangement for the church. Even so, too much purple..
 
Beatrice's bouquet is more pink than purple as seen in the pictures from twitter.
 
I don't see purple as a fall/winter color at all. Maybe early fall. Now if this was spring I'd say the colors were too dark.

But the purple bouquets were not for the wedding. They were a gift to Beatrice from the florist, not her actual bouquet.

She did break the royal mold of the bouquet being all white (flowers in the décor is one thing but the bouquets tend to be white).

There was most certainly pink flowers. More about it.

princess anne bouquet

princess anne's second bouquet was of Scottish heather, so yeah...it was rather spikey.
 
In that article the worst bouquet is Mathilde’s, it looks as if she is carrying a hedge!

Agreed hers was ugly but it at least looked like a bouquet. Mette’s looked like some floral blanket monstrosity or lichen with flowers stuck in.

I have to agree, Mathilde could have done with a few more flowers in her bouquet.

I don't think it was a commissioned arrangement at all but rather a gift from the local florist. The official florist appears to be Rob Van Helden, same as Eugenie had and I read somewhere that his sister made the bouquet.
 
The floral arrangements were done by two Dutch floristers owning an upmarket flower business in London.
 
Lady Diana Spencer nearly walked down the aisle without her wedding bouquet. As Diana exited the Glass Coach on the arm of her father, she did not have her bouquet. Was she concentrating on how she would exit gracefully? She left her flowers in the coach. However, when she walked down the aisle she had the bouquet.
