I think I'd get claustrophobic if I had to dress the way they dress all the time. The cloth (and decor) look too heavy and too bejeweled. I'm afraid a princess I'd never make, they'd find a reason to lock me in a tower PDQ.

i think moroccan princess salma hair and skin type is not very much common in africa. It is more british/irish/australian threats, but still she can do something with her makeup to appear with more modern look

http://costume.dm.net/makeup.html

Princess Salmashould start to imporve in the way she fix's herself. She is doinga very poor effort in that. Her hair is always done in the same style should could at least have it straightend and/or put into a ponytail or bun.Her make up has to change, she is all about the natural look, she can be natural with a bit of color, and color that suits her. That pink/redish lipstick she always wears should go.and she should wear a more calmer color of blush. There is no difference in her daytime andevening makeup, they all look the same to me.She needs a more stronger look for evening.Does she have anyone to tell her or advice her?If not she probably got have someone, for a few months.
I wont call her elegent, but we wont need to call fashion police in at this time. She might be new to dressing as aprincess, she also does a few mistakes time to time. But she will improve i hope.

Indeed she has to try some other hair style, but I just imagine how big and heavy (which could give her uncomfortably) her coiffure will be if she bring her hair together as a bun, she seems to have lot of hairs. It is probably the reason why she does not do it.

my mreference in this one, salma looks very chic in that simple haircut!:)

Nice work Blueice!
You know, I prefer Lalla Salma with long hair. Although I love the curly look on her, i believe she can look a lot better with some help. I wouldnt mind seeing her with straight hair once in a while. I also think that red hair suits her best, since it is obviously her natural shade and suits her colouring. I think she could dye her hair various shades of red, just for fun.

Bulecia
Thankx.I think she looks nice with straight hair and in the color double espresoo. Her hair color now is nice too, but only if we can see her with straight hair, it seems she does not know how to keep herhair back when its curly, to me it looks like a mess sometimes

Long curly hairs give an old-looking, Salma has the same age that princess Victoria of Sweden, and yet she seems a lot more aged

I think that a modern hair style and a color a lot less loud won't be bad, and mostly it is necessary that she abandon all her make-up

I think that sophisticated style doesn't suit her, what would suit her is the natural one

You are most welcome, Humera :) - can't agree more, her hair is simply gorgeous as it is, and as much as I would love to see some changes in her style, I can well understand why she seems to resist it. Auburn/red shades suits her best indeed, although she looks quite good in some shades of brown and even blond.
Anyway, I enjoyed 'playing' with www.makeoversolutions.com , proved to be a great place that truly offers loads of fun for us girls (needless to say - I have spent much more time experimenting with my own photo ;)), I highly recommend it! :)

again, and the last ones are for fun!:p

Nicely done, thank you both abir and Monalisa :). It would be lovely to see her experiment with different styles and shades. Sometimes searching for one's personal expression might take some time and quite a few wrong choices, and even with a next-to-perfect results, it is impossible to suit everyone's taste. Just meditating on the subject, I wonder how she actually looks in person - photos tend to be rather misleading.

As you said Blueice, there are many styles which suit salma, but she has to choose the ones which she feels confortable in.

In general, people choose cloths/makeup/hair-cuts, etc which they like, but it can't be necessary what other people like to see on them.

So I beleive, it's important to public figures (like salma) to know the image they gave on themselves to public.

And many public figures like to know that. And having stylish advisers than a simple hairdresse and beautician, helps a lot.

Thank you very much for these new pictures. I thought we had seen all the ones for that event in june, but it was not the case. Beautiful first lady indeed!! I particularly like the last pictures when salma was wearing the red caftan . The combination with the green jewels was quite a good idea.

Thanks Morgeanne for the pics! I couldn't believe those emarald earrings in the last few pics, I got light headed just looking at them:wacko: they're amazing! I love her jewels.:flowers:

I like Salma the way she is, I don't think she needs to change a thing. She has a very timeless and graceful look to me, I think she's very pretty.:flowers:

lalla salma in thailand.
these photos are very nice, because they are taken by near, it seems that lalla salma hasn't a very nice skin, because she has some "taches brunes" ii isn't very esthetic

Well I think she looks fantastic, a real retrousse beauty. A lot of natural redheads have freckles or taches brunes, this adds not detracts from her beauty. Perfection is not beautiful, reality is.

i think that those pictures ,were dark and did not do her justice she does have freckles but her skin is not horrible as it looks it those pictures. i believe that many of us could relate to the fact that we have had pictures that were not so flattering. so give the lady a break she is very charming.

^She has indeed some freckles,it's normal as she's a natural redhead woman, nothing unesthetic in my opinion,I know some people who went to esthetician and made tatoos of freeckles ;)

But talking about her skin, what I see is that she has a very good quality and flawless skin.

I was lucky to see in truth the majority of the members of the Moroccan royal family (and other families also within the framework of my old job)... SAR Lalla Latifa to .....last, I saw lalla salma, with his son, she was hairdressed very simply, very little make up, and equipped in a very young way.....she was very pretty, I find really damage that one does not see it with his advantage... she is often equipped with a style which is not its age and similar for the make-up... that does not pay homage to him, think that it has people who advse her about her look ???

maybe she wants to dress a little older so that people around her do not feel like she is this young princess who may not know what she is talking about but rather when she is talking, they need to take her seriously.

flowy dresses may not command the authority she wants to exude especially in a dominant male society.

just a thought on her dressing.
