Carl Philip was 12th (and 5th in his class) at Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia's first practice at Rudskogen Motorsenter in Rakkestad, Norway today. 18 cars at the track today.

At the first race of the weekend Carl Philip had to retire after a collision with Ole William Nærsnes.

This was a bad weekend for Carl Philip. He got only one point from three races at the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia.
Carl Philip dropped from 8th place to 10th at the Carrera Cup with 62 points, leader Lukas Sundahl has 279 points. At the Masters Cup he dropped from 2nd to 3rd, he has now 154 points, leader Christoffer Bergström has 241 points.

At Rudskogen Motorsenter, Lukas Sundahl not only secured his fourth title in the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia. With the fastest laps in the two opening heats, he also decided the TAG Heuer Fastest Lap Award. As a prize for that achievement Sundahl receives an extremely exclusive TAG Heuer Porsche Chronograph Special Edition.

Carl Philip was 13th (and 4th at his class) at the second race, the last race of this season at Mantorp Park.

Carl Philip was 10th at the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia, and 3rd at the Masters Cup this season (in 2020 he was 8th at the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia, and 2nd at Masters Cup). At Masters Cup only five drivers competed the whole season.

Carl Philip had today a test day with the winners of the Prince Carl Philip's Racing Trophy at Gelleråsen Arena in Karlskoga.
The Trophy winners were allowed to test drive Carl Philip's Porsche he raced at Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia.

Carl Philip competes this season at The Porsche Sprint Challenge Cup Scandinavia. Among the drivers are also alpine ski stars Aksel Lund Svindal and Ingemar Stenmark.

At the roll-out in Mantorp Park on 29-30 April Carl Philip told:
- I change class for time reasons. The time it takes to get acquainted with the new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) in the Carrera Cup I don't have in the current situation, says Carl Philip, but he admits that the conversion to the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport also requires its driver. It is a very nice car with good balance. But it has less effect than what he is used to and therefore he needs to learn a little, including finding new braking points.
Carl Philip will not run all the races in the championship. He is not included in the premiere at Scandinavian Raceway in Anderstorp 13-14 May.
At the roll-out, Carl Philip got the fourth best lap time, which also shows that he can very well become a hot podium candidate in the race.
- You do not know, anything can happen. For once, I may have a little more experience than many of my competitors, but there are several in the starting field who are very fast and after the days here at Mantorp Park I am very impressed by Aksel Lund Svindal, says Carl Philip.

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Cup Scandinavia starts this weekend, today was the qualification. Carl Philip doesn't race at this weekend.

A fast teenager, two world-famous alpine kings, a 59-year-old pre-favorite, a real prince… Porsche Sprint Challenge Scandinavia has it all. May 13-14, the second season of the successful class kicks off at Scandinavian Raceway in Anderstorp.
The internal competition in Porsche Experience Racing looks to be tough and maybe both Stenmark and Lund Svindal will have to give in to their teammate Prince Carl Philip? After several seasons in the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia, Carl Philip chooses to change class for time reasons. Carl Philip was fourth in the roll out and all the experience he has makes him a hot podium candidate. At least in the races. In total, it can be tougher because he will not participate in all races. Among other things, he misses the premiere in Anderstop.

Two new drivers will start in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Scandinavia in the competition at Drivecenter Arena in Fällfors 17-18 June. Prince Carl Philip makes his debut in the class.
There will be 13 cars to start in the Porsche Sprint Challenge in Fällfors. Prince Carl Philip, who took the step from the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia, makes his first start in the championship. He was noted for the fourth best lap time at the class roll-out at Mantorp Park at the end of April. A result that indicates that he may well become a hot podium candidate in the race.
"You do not know, anything can happen," said the prince after the genre rehearsal in Östergötland.
At the same time, he admitted that "for once, I may have a little more experience than many of my competitors".

Carl Philip won his first race at this new serie for him, Porsche Spring Challenge Cup Scandinavia at Drivecenter Arena in Fällfors today. He didn't race at the first weekend on 13-14 May. Twelve cars at the race.

Prince Carl Philip won directly in the Porsche Sprint Challenge
The prince advanced directly from fourth to second place and began the hunt for teammate in Porsche Experience Racing, Aksel Lund Svindal. The Norwegian alpine star, who won the first heat of the premiere, was long shadowed by the prince. But on the penultimate lap, the prince made an attempt to get past the hairpin curve of the track.
- Aksel slowed down a bit and then I tested to see if I could at least get up side by side, but I managed to get past, says the prince.
Of course, Prince Carl Philip was very happy and satisfied with his efforts.
- First race in the car and victory immediately. Cool.
But the journey to the goal in the difficult conditions was not completely problem-free.
- I had opportunities in the race that were very interesting and exciting, he admits and takes the opportunity to pay tribute to Aksel Lund Svindal.
- I was behind him and I think I only saw one mistake on his part. I had more, tested a little more, says the prince with a smile.

Today and tomorrow is another racing weekend in Falkenberg for Porsche Sprint Challenge Cup Scandinavia. Carl Philip isn't competing, since his team, Porsche Experience Racing, does not participate in the races this weekend.

Prince Carl Philip is replaced by a real racing queen in the upcoming Porsche Sprint Challenge Scandinavia. In Anderstorp 5-6 August, Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky will take over the prince's car at Porsche Experience Racing.
- I am grateful to have the chance to enter the championship and compete at Scandinavian Raceway, which I think is a good and fun track. But this will also be a challenge, partly because I have never before driven a GT4 car in a competitive context, says Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky.
Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky is Sweden's most successful female racing driver.

On August 27-28, history's first junior and senior SC in electric go-karts will be decided in connection with the Prince Carl Philip's Racing Trophy. A total of 27 drivers will start in the SM classes at GTR Motorpark in Eskilstuna. Prince Carl Philip is among the participants.
- Ten years ago we started the Prince Carl Philip's Racing Trophy. The competition has grown all the time and this year it will also include the SM in electric go-karts. As cool as it gets, Prince Carl Philip said during Thursday's press conference on the track.
Prince Carl Philip is one of 17 drivers in the senior class. Despite his racing experience, he is not a hot candidate for the title.

- There is more balance in an electric go-kart. And it is heavier, so it sits well on the road, said Carl Philip after a practice round today.
As usual, Carl Philip is one of the participants in the competition named after him: Prince Carl Philip's Racing Trophy. It is the tenth year that the competition has been run and for the third time it is arranged in Eskilstuna.
Last year Carl Philip tested an electric go-kart. But this year it's serious as the country's first electric go-kart championship is held at the same time as the Prince Carl Philip's Racing Trophy. Carl Philip participates in the competition.
Carl Philip said that there is a difference driving an electric go-kart compared to a normal one. The sound is completely different and you have to listen to the wind to get a sense of how fast you are going. There is clearly an environmental perspective. Carl Philip said also that there are many younger drivers in his go-kart competition who have since progressed and become good in motorsport and it's incredibly fun to watch.

Prince Carl Philip continues his racing venture in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Scandinavia. He continues to drive for Porsche Experience Racing and will compete with the team's Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport.
- It feels inspiring to have completed participation in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Scandinavia 2023.
- I obviously want to run as many sub-competitions as possible, but due to time constraints it will not be the entire championship. However, my ambition is to place myself as high as possible in the competitions I can participate in, says Prince Carl Philip, who can count on stiff competition.
