I have just watched HM`s speech on the Green Marsh ''Marche Verte'' anniversary.
He doesn`t seem comfortable. His voice could hardly be heard.
I hope he is doing well:ermm:

I noticed that too,he even can't stand properly
Each day his struggle with his health problems is so obvious...it's sad really

Is it just me or in the video of the speech were they standing in front of a green screen or something? It doesn't seem like they were really in front of that backdrop

I do think so too Mohammed VI is very influential figure in arab and muslim world, and as much as i am not fan of Trump i must say he undersrood that well as he undestood the special nature of Morcco/US ties as he said in his Twitt,Morocco is the first state to formaly recognize the independance of USA in 1777 by the Sultan Mohammed III, the first treaty of friendship signed by US was with Morocco in 1786 and this document reminds the longest unbroken treaty relationship in US history, and the oldest US diplomatic property in the world was in Morocco (in Tangier) Now a museum....Morocco and US have loooong and intersting ties so this honor to Mohammed VI is smal part of it imo

Mademoiselle Lilo: Thank you for the History lesson was not aware of it. These two great Country's have a great history together and for such a long time. The treaty of friendship between the US and Marocco since 1786, that alone is impressive, I really must read up on it. Thank you.
