It is unfortunate that Queen Sofia does not accompany King Juan Carlos any more.

Her Majesty did accompany his Majesty recently to Portugal for a visit,perhaps this visit clashes with the Queen's Easter holidays to Majorca (Her Majesty normally is the first to arrive with her sister during Holy Week).
 
it's great to see King JC out undertaking official visits he looks better,good for him.
 
His Majesty looks very well, hearty and vigorous: hopefull all the recent health issues have been taken care of.:flowers::)

SPA - The King of Spain was also received by Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah Province; Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the State, Member of the Cabinet, Chief of the Crown Prince's Court and Advisor to the Crown Prince; Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, Saudi ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain; Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, Minister of Commerce and Industry and a number of senior officials.
Then, the Crown Prince and the King of Spain inspected the guard of honor.
After a short break, the Spanish King left the Royal terminal to the residence's headquarters.

The official delegation with the Spanish King included Spanish Minister of Defense Pedro Morenes Eulate; Spanish Minister of Transport and Development Ana Pastor Julian; Spanish Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism Jose Manuel Soria; and a number of Spanish senior officials.

SPA -- King Juan Carlos of Kingdom of Spain received at his residence in Jeddah today Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier, and Advisor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Prince Muqrin wished the Spanish King a pleasant stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common concern to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries .
The audience was attended by Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan, Saudi Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain and the Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah.

On the Spanish side, it was attended by the official delegation accompanying the King of Spain.
