Jess... that's inside the anantasamakom throne hall. these pics were taken on the 9th of June.

btw, i don't remember seeing both princesses wearing tairas. could you please post some pics of them wearing it if you have? Thanks loads Jess! :)

Actually, our royal family has no tradition of wearing a tiara. This tradition was firstly existed in Thailand in when King Chulalongkorn (King Rama V) visited to Europe and brought some jewelry and Tiaras for his Queens and consorts. So in the early period, tiaras are ussually worn by Queen and some princess worn tiara when they took a photo.

Nowaday, there is no regulation about wearing tiara but I think that Tiara are traditionally preserved for the Queen in order to give her an honor.
