The engagement was announced 3 January, 2023, between Arthur William Boyd (born 1994), scion of the Barons Kilmarnock, younger son of the Hon Jonathan Aubrey Lewis Boyd (born 1 Oct, 1956), of Newton, Lincolnshire, and his wife the former Annette Madeleine Constantine, & Victoria R. Drysdale, younger daughter of Michael Drysdale, KC, of Brisbane, Australia, and Mrs Drysdale.

First same-sex marriage for a descendant of King George V!

Ellen Mary Lascelles (born 17 December 1984) [daughter of Jeremy Lascelles (b.1955) {himself son of George Lascelles, 7th Earl of Harewood, paternal cousin of QEII (1923-2011) & his first wife Marion Stein (1926-2014)} & his first wife Julie, nee Bayliss (b.1957)] has just announced on her Instagram account (which is private) her engagement to her partner, who is named Chan, Peerage News site reports.

Ellen has a son Jack Marley (21-3-2016) and a daughter Penny Moon (1-1-2018) with her former partner Michael G. Hermans.

The engagement was announced between Prince Amaury of Bourbon-Parma (born 30 December 1991) [son of Prince Charles-Emmanuel of Bourbon-Parma (b.1961) {himself son of Prince Michel of Bourbon-Parma (1926-2018) & his first wife Princess Yolande de Broglie-Revel (1928-2014)} & his wife Constance, nee de Ravinel (b.1971)] and Pélagie de Mac Mahon (born 24 June 1990) [daughter of Philippe, 4th Duke of Magenta (1938-2002) and his second wife Amelia, nee Drummond (born 1963)].

Amaury is the only son and second child who marries. His sister Charlotte (born 1993) has married Javier Valladares Urruela last year. His other sisters are Elizabeth (born 1996) and Zita (born 1999).

Pelagie is also second child who marries. Her half-sister Adelaide has married Romain Pezet de Corval in 2004. She has also one half-sister Eleonore (born 1980) and one brother Maurice, 5th Duke of Magenta (born 1992).

When the bride's sister married in 2021 they did not attend the Wedding itself, but the Ball in the evening
 
Princess Clarissa of Furstenberg (b.18 February 1993) [daughter of Prince Maximilian of Furstenberg (b.1962) & his first wife, Diana Freiin von Berlichingen (b.1965)] is engaged to Alexander Cass Saint (b. November 1994); they are going to marry in Schloss Werenwag in Beuron (Germany) on 16 September.

A bride-to-be is the eldest of three children and first one who marries; she has a brother Friedrich (b.8 April 1995) and a sister Alina (b.15 February 2001).

Update: Prince Constantin of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glucksburg (b.14 July 1986) [third of four children and second son of Christoph Prince of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glucksburg (b.1949) & his wife, Princess Elisabeth of Lippe-Weissenfeld (b.1957)] & his fiancee Countess Sophia von der Schulenberg (b.17 April 1990) [second of four children of Count Friedrich von der Schulenberg & his wife Baroness Franziska von Knigge] who got engaged last December, are going to marry next year (i.e. 2024); they are expecting their first child in Summer.

The engagement has been announced recently between Sebastian Edward Seymour, styled Baron Seymour (b.3 February, 1982) [the eldest of four children and heir of John Michael Edward Seymour, 19th Duke of Somerset (b.1952) & his wife Judith-Rose, nee Hull (b.1952)] & Alexandra Wilcox (b.1990) [daughter of John Wilcox & his wife Gillian, nee Saggers].

It will be Lord Seymour’s second marriage. He married firstly in 2006 (divorced in 2014) Arlette Marie Leotine Lafayeedney, daughter of Daniel Lafayeedney.

Viola Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga (b. 31 May 1991) [daughter of Giberto, Count Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga (b. 1961) & his wife, Princess Bianca of Savoy-Aosta (b.1966)] is engaged to Charles Maximillian Siem (b. 14 January 1986) [son of Kristian Siem (b. 1949) and his wife Karen Ann Moos]; the wedding will take place in Venice in September.

A bride-to-be is the eldest of five children and second one who marries; her younger sister Vera (b. 1993) is married to Count Briano Martinoni Caleppio since October 2021. Her other siblings are: Mafalda (b. 1997), Maddalena (b. 2000) and Leonardo (b. 2001).

This will be his second marriage. He married Diana Alvares Pereira de Melo (*1978) in 2008, and they had a daughter Isabelle (*2012) before divorcing in 2022.

Many congratulations to the couple. The Duke of Westminster and his family are close to the British Royal Family. That's why I believe that BRF will be invited to the wedding.

Charles-Édouard Crépy (b.1996) [son of Clothilde d'Evreux, became Princess Clotilde of Orléans in 1999 (b.1968) {herself eldest of four children of Michel of Orléans, count of Évreux (b.1941) & his first wife Beatrice Pasquier de Franclieu (b.1941)} & her husband Edouard Crépy (b.1969)] got engaged to Anna-Magdalena Goebel on 25 February.

His elder brother Louis-Nicolas (b.1995) got engaged to Carolina Torío Ballester (b.1997) on 20 November last year.

Other siblings are: Gaspard-Marie (b.1999), Augustin (b.2005) & Éléonore (b.2007).
