Daniel got the kidney from his father, but his disease isn´t of the genetical kind.

Please elaborate. You must have very specific information about the Westling family to claim that there is an inheritable kindney problem.
 
This is the first time ever that I hear that there is actually a history of kidney disease in Daniel's family. Can you please explain more in detail? Thank you.

This is the first I'd heard of it too, though I'm not sure this is the right thread to discus it. Daniel said it was congenital (he was born with it) but not hereditary (he won't pass it on to his children and might be due to his mother having a cold during pregnancy.

Also, I don't see how it logically follows that (as the poster said) due to a family history of kidney problems his father was the donor. His father was the donor because organs donated by relatives are less likely to be rejected. They probably did the screening and decided his father would be the best match.

Anyway, more on topic, the concert is no longer available on the SVT website. I'm afraid I got interested in this wedding 'too late'. Does anyone know where I can watch it? And a brief summary of the swedish commentary would be really appreciated. :)

I really wanted to see the ballet part again.
I couldn't find anything so I gave up....I'm really glad you posted it:flowers:.
 
I can watch the finale all day. The part with the children is so adorable..
 
Thank you so much for those links. It's great to have the vids at one place. The event was wonderful. I also like the part with the children, it was cuteness overload. And I couldn't help breaking into loud laughters when I saw Prince Willem Alexander having the silly look at 2.18, it's even funnier as I don't think it was intended :lol:
 
I want Malenas arms! But I´m so lazy......:p

I think the best part was with Roxette. I loved them as a kid and it was cool to see them. :flowers:

There was a reception after the concert, Victoria gave her speech there. I saw that at a video the SVT webpage after the wedding. At the video it was shown how the king, the queen, Victoria, Daniel, Carl Philip and Madeleine welcomed the guests to the reception. Later Letizia was first talking to Mathilde and at the end Letizia and Mathilde were talking with Mary. At the video swedish Tv-host Mark Levengood also interviewed some of the artists performing at the concert.
 
I can't help it. I still cry when I watch these videos. Victoria and Daniel's absolute joy in one another, and their deep love just moves me to tears to see even after all these weeks. :valentine1:

The King at 1:03 almost crying... both he and the queen looked very touched.

till over 1 o'clock of sunday morning when SVT finally stopped broadcasting.

You are right Lucien. It was a great wedding. A pity that we don´t have a wedding in November between Madde and Jonas. But she had luck to find out, that he is an idiot.

Lucien you know what I like was the dancers in gowns helping the guests get to their destination for the reception. I loved their dancing.:flowers:
