Hmm, tricky one, this. I'm inclined to say Princess Diana but at times she could be very wilful and even plain childish in the way she treated her friends and staff. Sophie, Countess of Wessex seems to be a sweet, kind lady.

The Queen is shy and may seem a bit reserved, but she is very kind, warm, caring, forgiving and non-judgmental. She has a good relationship with her children, grandchildren, daughters in law, even with Sarah Ferguson. She was fond of Diana too.

She has a good relationship with her staff, and care about them.

She is a lovely and kind, caring lady who will put you at ease. She is wonderful at this, as I have experienced over the years, and on a few occasions, I’ve been the only person in the room with her. I must say she has a lovely sense of humour which I have been lucky enough to share with her personally.

These are some of the many reasons why I love the Queen, and she is very sweet when she smiles.

This indeed a very hard choice because we do not know any of them personally. But, from what I have seen through media, I would vote for Mary and Sophie as being very kind. Although, over all, Queen Elizabeth II seems to be one of the most caring ladies to all she meets.

I have no way of knowing who is really caring because I don't know them away from the media images. I suspect they are ALL lovely women.

My sense is that Queen Mathilde seems to exude warmth.

I would agree with Duc_et_Pair about Queen Beatrix particularly with regard to her relationships with her daughters-in-law. She seems to be the most generous of spirit.

But these are 2 Queen (well 1 Queen and 1 former Queen).

For kindness, I must say Queen Mathilde - for me she just has this aura of calm, and seems to radiate kindness. For sweetness, Princess Marie - i recently rewatched the documentary on her that aired prior to her marriage to Prince Joachim - she comes across as very bubbly, funny and very sweet.

I don't know why but your choice surprised me and then I went back and looked and read a little andI have to agree, she is both kind and sweet.

My first thoughts went straight to HGD Stephanie with her sweet smile and serene demeanor, so I guess for me it's a tie.
