Queen Rania Distinguished Teacher Award launched
(Office of Her Majesty, The Jordan Times - Amman) AMMAN — Marking Teachers' Day, His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday launched the Queen Rania Distinguished Teacher Award, seeking to spread the spirit of competitiveness among the Kingdom's educators.
Joining a workshop of 25 teachers yesterday to discuss the characteristics necessary to excel in the profession and to set a strategy for success in the field, Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania voiced their support for teachers in the Kingdom.

Amman, Oct. 05 (Petra)--His Majesty King Abdullah II on Wednesday launched an annual reward for teachers titled "Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Reward for Excelled Teacher".
The reward expresses the King's appreciation on the teachers' role to develop themselves , their abilities and knowledge and to bring about students who belong to their country , think , produce and are capable of working out innovative solutions regardless of the circumstances and obstacles, as well as // the challenges they face,// as put by His Majesty.
