Princess Mafalda of Savoy and Landgrave Philipp of Hesse-Kassel - 1925

On 23 September 1925, Mafalda of Savoy, Princess of Italy, married Prince Philipp of Hesse, Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel.
She is the daughter of King Vittorio Emanuele III and Queen Elena of Italy, he is the grandson of German Emperor Frederick III.

The couple married at Racconigi Castle, in province of Cuneo, near Turin.
Princess Mafalda became Landgravine of Hesse.
