El rey Juan Carlos llega hoy a Rusia para promover oportunidades de negocios - EcoDiario.es

The program of the visit of King of Spain, whose arrival in the Russian capital is expected for this afternoon, does not include public activities to this day, diplomatic sources told Efe Spanish.

First thing in morning, King Juan Carlos will meet with the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, a billionaire developer and ambitious program of modernization of infrastructure of the Russian capital in which Spanish companies could participate.

I don't know the details, but we in Moscow say that last year, the King also awarded a State Prize, but he did not come. We have a chat, that maybe really bad case of the Spanish kingdom that the king had come to prize.:whistling: Many people are also offended by our government, they say it would be better spent the money ( it is 5 million rubles) to help the victims of flood in Krymsk!!!!!!!!!

King Juan Carlos was honored by the Russian state in June 2011, he and the queen had been in Russia in February 2011. The Russian President should have traveled to Spain in late 2011, but canceled his trip to the elections and his wife traveled alone.

So until the King has not recovered from his health problems, and Russia has not had a new government, they have not been able to organize a new trip.

King Juan Carlos donated the money to the Spanish town of Lorca, which suffered an earthquake on the dates he was awarded the prize.

This wasn't one of the trips that later came under scrutiny, was it?
