From May 24 to May 28, 2008​

His Majesty the King will realize an official trip to the United Arab Emirates, with stays in Abu Dhabi and Dubai from May 24 to May 26, to Kuwait on May 26 and 27 and to Saudi Arabia on the 27th and 28th of May, 2008.

First that made His Majesty the King yesterday, after landing in Abu Dhabi, first scale of his economic tour by East, it was to pay a brief tribute before the tomb of sheik Zayed bin Sultan To the Nahyan, the first president of Arab Emirates United (EAU) and Emir of Abu Dhabi. Don Juan Carlos knew the creator of the transformation that has experienced east desert country during its visit to this Emirate in 1981 and wanted to dedicate to him to a sense memory.

The Spanish Real House had indicated that one of the objectives of the trip, in which Spanish ministers of Outer Subjects, Miguel Angel Moratinos participate, and of Industry, Miguel Sebastián, is to strengthen economic bonds with the region.
