All these recent events involving royal visits to northern Europe and countries adjacent to the Russian border seem to be part of a bigger picture in what's happening between Russia and the European Union + other nations. The king, who also descends from the Romanov Russian Czars via his maternal line, is showing solidarity from Europe to any Baltic nation worried to be reabsorbed by Russia.

That aside, this is the palace started and completed by King Felipe's ancestors Peter the Great, around 1710, and Empress Elisabeth and Catherine the Great: Kadriorg Palace

I was not able to edit this into the above post since we have only 60 minutes to edit and then the post gets locked out.

Article: King of Spain to visit Estonia
Excerpt:
"King Felipe VI of Spain will pay an official visit to Estonia on Sunday, June 23 to discuss defense cooperation.
President Alar Karis will welcome King Felipe at Kadriorg before visiting the Spanish Navy's multifunctional landing ship Juan Carlos I at the Port of Tallinn. The king will also meet with the Chairman of the Riigikogu Lauri Hussar (Eesti 200) and visit the Estonian parliament..."

I found more historical information that relate to the country's history and since King Felipe is sure to visit and get to know more on the history of Estonia, we can do the same here at RFs.
I was intrigued by Estonia's history and found the Baltic nations had a nobility mixed up that included German, Polish, Swedish and Russian nobility re-established in Estonia.
