Thanks for having me!
I am a direct descendent of the Plantagenets. Fulk 1, Geoffrey Plantagenet, HenryII, John Plantagenet, Henry III, Edward I, Edward II, and Edward III were all my great-grandfathers. I am closely related to Stuarts, Tudors, and Hanovers and am 15 degrees from Queen Elizabeth II.
I also have a son with Porphyria. His geneticist questioned if we had a strong royal blood line and I had never looked into our ancestry before. I have discovered the royal blood line due to my son's diagnosis.
I am trying to connect with other people with Porphyria who also have strong royal ancestry. Just trying to understand the diagnosis and report back anything substantial to the genetics team.
