Isn't Skaugum estate their home (where the family lives)? So they are hosting a seminar in their house? Is the state divided in many buildings or the main building divided into different areas or are they hosting in the room they usually use for their family activities?
Anyway, it looks amazing

Skaugum is their home. On the ground floor are 5 representations-rooms, here were made these seminars. On the second floor are their privat rooms, I think they are closed from the guests... And there are more modern furnitures, than in the representationsrooms...

In this picture you can see the staircase what goes on the privatrooms:

This is the same room. From the entrance hall you come first in this room, you can see next the library:

Next to the library (on the other side) is the dinerroom with the blue wallpaper, in this picture you can see it:

(from this dinnerroom you come to this room, this is also the last room, with the huge hangings on the wall):

Thanks so much for the informations, fortimo. I was wondering if they let the strangers walk into their private rooms, which seemed to me a major breach of intimacy allowed by the couple.

Also, the portrait behind MM is Crown-Princess Martha?

Yes, I think she is, but I am not so good in the norwegian history... :) (But the goggle shows similar pictures, if I type "CP Märtha"... :) )

Yes that portrait is CP Märtha:)

Thanks, thanks, I saw also some pictures in a german newspaper, so it is not only in the Seher and Semana. If I have more time, I try to scan them...:)

When Haakon and Mette-Marit took over Skaugum from King Harald and Queen Sonja, it was modernised, and an apartment with the day-to-day living quarters were set up on the second floor. The first floor remained as it was (or close to it) and is in use for more official purposes, such as the dinners they host for various occasions, this seminar...

More pics:

I think Mette-Marit discovered the photograph here, she seems to be angry:

It is every time exciting to see VIP's in holiday or in private moments, but if I see the second picture, I am a little bit sad about them, and symphatize with them, they can't be alone, it can be frustrating, in every moment to be photographed ...

Dear Members, Does anybody know what Mette-Marit wears? It seems a batique-style blouse and a long collier?

To me it looks like a black dress with a black cardigan (ruffled in the waist) and yes, a long collier

Haakon and Mette-Marit's 40th birthdays

This summer Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit celebrate their 40th birthdays (Haakon on July 20 and Mette-Marit on August 19).
On this occasion, the Post will release a series of four stamps for inland letters on June 10.

This is the first time that Crown Princess Mette-Marit will be on a Norwegian postage stamp. But she has already been on stamps in foreign countries (see pictures in the article).

To avoid a misunderstanding: The big picture is of a stamp from Gambia. Gambia made a series on Royals, where all the pictures look this strange (you can see them here).

The new stamps are not released yet, I believe they are smart enough to choose nice pictures!

Today, CP Haakon and CP Mette-Marit visit Arbeidsinstituttet in connection with a two-day seminar at Sundvolden Hotel, April 18, 2013.
Arbeidsinstituttet is a local labour institute that offers courses in a number of subjects to young people and one of the projects supported by the CP Couple's Fund.
The CP Couple will, among other things, hear a little about the results of the first seminar day. The couple will also be involved in group discussions and answer questions from four youths from AI.

They obviously were in quite a good mood when you look at the pictures at the bottom of the gallery.
