Death and Funeral of the Duke of Suárez: March 24 and 31, 2014

Tomorrow there will be a private funeral and burial in the Cathedral of Ávila.

The State funeral will be held on Monday, March 31 at 7pm in Madrid.

I'm not Spanish but I read the State Funeral will take place on Monday March 31st at the Almudena Cathedral, Madrid.

Grand Cross of the Civil Order of Alfonso X, the Wise
Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic
Collar of the Order of Charles III (Posthumous) (Displayed at Funeral & Lying in State) Awarded by H.M.King Juan Carlos.
Grand Cross of the Order of Charles III
Knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece of Spain (Displayed at Funeral & Lying in State),Awarded by H.M.King Juan Carlos in 2007.

Is this Order more important than the Order of Charles III ?

Pilar Urbano, Queen Sofia's biographer, has come up with her latest book 'what Suarez forget and the King chose not to remember', basically claiming that Juan Carlos was the 'white elephant', behind the coup of 1981 in order to get rid of Suarez and make way for his eventual successor Gonzalez.

Suarez' family is giving an angry reception towards the book and casareal claims that the book is pure fiction. The rumours about the King being the 'white elephant' have been there for a long time and Suarez' death is a good opportunity to bring them up again in make some money.
