The information is on the British Royal Families future engagements page, if it wasn't on there, then it wouldn't be official. It's possible her visit to Qatar will be moved to the Qatar RF Section, if she's meeting/being met by one of their royals. Both visits will have little to no coverage frankly.

WOW
In all these engagements these week, Countess of Wessex looks stunning :)
Great that these trips have some media attention :flowers:

Has anyone found link to pics from today at Zimbio? I cannot locate them..
She looks wonderful today, as well as on all other days :)
Lace dress is new, couldn't ID it so far, the blue one for sure looks like Roland Mouret, found similar ones but nothing exactly the same.

I love her lace dress, it's beautiful. It looks a lot like the red one Sophie had when she was in Czech Republic, but I am not sure. I can see she may have sparkly shoes on with the navy dress... I love all the scarves she has paired with the ensembles. The feel of the clothes makes me think she thought about the trip and where it was, hence the floaty clothes.

Sophie looks beautiful as always and it's always lovely to see the wedding earrings getting a turn.

I don't like the lace dress actually but the blue is very nice. IMO

I love the photos of Sophie with the 3D glasses on! I hope she has enjoyed her time in India and Qatar and I hope her visit will raise awareness for the ORBIS charity and the Flying Eye Hospital.

Thanks @ everyone for sharing all the pictures from Sophie´s visit to Qatar :flowers:
She looked absolutely amazing and so relaxed and joyful, I guess she was having a good time :) I love all of her outfit choices, especially the blue-white combination she wore for visiting the MOMA, very elegant and also appropriate for a more conservative country like Qatar.
Hopefully this visit will help to create more awareness for the cause and generate some donations for ORBIS and other organisations that are actively involved in the prevention and treatment of blindness!

I think this visit was a big success, Countess and everyone around her enjoyed that visit, including myself. Chris Jackson did an amazing job with his pictures, and I do believe Countess did raise awarness for saving sight and helped Orbis. It's a bit sad this visit ends.
As for dresses, lace one is Valentino and blue one is Roland Mouret as suspected.
I love most of Countess outfits. The least I liked the one from the first day, but rest was really perfect, especially for the countries she visited.

I did not realise her Paris dress was in fact two separate pieces of clothing. Sophie has paired the top half with lovely trousers today.

This visit has been great and I am pleased the amount of coverage it received. The Wessex's work goes unnoticed and unappreciated far too often.

I realized that today as well.
She paired Wickstead blouse with trousers she wore on first day to Czech. I'm thinking Emilio Pucci as well.
And DM article, Sophie is Robo-Doc

Considering the lack of mainstream press coverage I doubt that the vast majority of people were even aware that she was there or that Orbis exists.

If I didn't read this forum and the CC daily I, for one, would have had no idea that she was even out of the UK.

Most people I know don't even know she exists and even on royal fora she doesn't get a lot of coverage - so if she isn't getting publicity then she isn't raising awareness.

Regardless of the coverage, I think the work speaks for itself. I think Sophie has done a pretty good job on behalf of Orbis.

The idea of having a royal involved is to raise awareness of the issue and so if there isn't coverage then the royal isn't really doing anything to help. Sadly for Sophie that is the case here - a great cause but no coverage=no awareness of the issue and so she isn't doing what is important - making people aware of the issue.

I do share other people´s impression that the work of Sophie, Countess of Wessex is less publicised and also gets less praise and compliments than the work of other royal ladies.
Nevertheless I have always admired her because she is very professional and friendly, everywhere she goes she is greeted by people who are obviously very happy that she is visiting. Maybe her work is less "loud" and not so hyped by the media, but it does not mean it does not have any impact. I believe it is her way of doing things-discreete,well-prepared and competent.
With other ladies´s charity work I sometimes feel that the appearance of the royal lady is more important and more recognised than the work and impact of the organisation or cause she supports. When Sophie does charitable work we always hear and read about the cause and her subtle outfit choices do not shift the attention from the important issues she wants to bring to other people´s attention. On another account: Doing such visits is not only meant for producing awareness, but they are also a way for exchanging knowledge and sharing experiences between different countries and specialists who are involved in the cause.

People are either knowing royals, or following some royals and the work they do, or know some royals but generally don't care what they do, but how they look. Or don't know who royals are, what they do, and generally don't care, most of such people think that royals are lazy and do nothing.

Countess is the person who, when she is involved in something, brings attention to the matter. I like how blauerengel put my thoughts into her words:

You nailed IT!

Also if Countess work wouldn't be needed, people wouldn't want her, they would ask other royals to attend. I do believe she can change things in a matter, that younger royals can only learn.
Also there was press coverage, maybe not as loud as when Kate has appearence, but when she has appearence, people even don't know or remember what the event was for, they only want to know what she wore and buy clothes, to sell them later with profit.
When Sophie has appearance, we know why it was, and we always hear, how Countess was well prepered and knew the subject of the matter.
So, you can either search for bright sights of her work, or thinking in negative way, that simply doesn't change anything.
I believe in her, and I'm sure other people as well.
Frankly I lost some of my admiration to Kate, because of the hype media is creating around her. I would love to see her working and bringing attention to things that really matter.

her visit to India & Qatar, wasn't mainly for the press, but for the organizations she supported, she had lots of meetings and attended symposiums with lots of people, where she had to talk and raise awarness;
"HRH highlighted how life with no access to education or employment can mean a loss of independence, so by restoring sight ORBIS can also restore opportunity."
And in my oppinion she did her job. And she did it great.
