There is a biography about Fat Mary called The People's Princess by S.W.Jackmann 1984/1996 which I think is a very nice book about her life and time

    The Duchess of Gloucester Jewellery

I think Queen Mary (she gave most of the pieces) had one piont in her head by doing so. She gave all her children a complete set of jewels with the conection of her family background of the "old royal family". She couldn't know that not only fasion altered in such modern style and that tiaras...

But it is quite interesting that Camilla is wearing mainly jewels from the Queen Mother. Despite this tax transfer, why the Queen (ERII) doesn't loan anything to the Princes Royal or Sarah (both are the only granddaughters of the Q.Mum)I haven't seen them wearing those jewels. That the Royal...

Diana, Princess of Wales Jewellery 1: November 2002-September 2007

No, Diana never wore it. The only tiara she wore from the royal collection was the lovers' knot tiara. The Delhi Durbar tiara would have been too big for her; even with Camilla's big hair it's rather imposing. it's may because the dehli tiara was the property of Q Mary and went after her...

    Princess Margaret Jewellery

It is right that the Gloucester's Parure belogend to the Teck Family, but Q Mary assembled both to one, and later parted it into two one for the Gloucester and the other for Princess Margret. Queen Mary wished that every "new" family tree of her children (I mean for her sons and daughter)...

It is nice to see the Jewels from Queen Mum again. They're really nice. Camilla wear them, as you know that the jewels from the royal collection (indian circlet ruby tiara ...) return to the queen, and parts of the private collection of Queen Mum are inheried by her beloved grandson Prince...
