Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix, Current Events 1: September 2005 - July 2009

I can't personally see Asian features in him at all. I think his eyes are blue. He does remind me a lot of his mum though. :p

I believe the parents till love each other, just not in a romantic way. ;)

I am not sure about Joachim's hat. Is it a custom to wear such a hat to someone's funeral in Denmark?

    Grace Levine

Thank you for clearing that up. :) um....looks like my theory that her death surrounds something taboo or had the potential to be made into some sort of scandal by the press....

Sorry, but I am quite confused. So is Grace Levine (the cousin of Princess Caroline) dead or not?

    Relationship between Mary and Alexandra

I think Alex has been extremely lucky that the Queen and the immediate family seemed to have been so supportive of her. Fred seems to be quite close to Alex, esp before he got married and had a baby The Queen seems to be proud of Alex and have been generous to her in the divorce and not...

    Relationship between Mary and Alexandra

Yes it is. ;) It is more common for children of multi-national backgrounds to attend international schools then local Chinese schools in HK. English is also the 2nd language there, most educated people with good careers can speak English quite well so it made a lot of sense for her parents...

    Princess Alexandra Picture Thread

If she is going to turn into anything like her dad, I doubt it. :(

    Relationship between Mary and Alexandra

Thank you! That is my point exactly! Why is it necessary to called her 'Asian'? She is not Asian! What's wrong with just 'British born princess' or 'hong kong born princess'? No one has ever called Mary 'an Australian born Scott' which is what she is actually. So why add racial...

    Grace Levine

Not trying to stir the pot but is it possible that her death has something to do with drugs or something else that is considered taboo so the family has kept it all very secretive?

    Relationship between Mary and Alexandra

That is quite interesting. I read an old article in Royalty Magazine that called her "a British born Asian lady". I was rather offened by that. I can totally see your point that her 1/4 Chinese blood is a rather theatening issue for some white Europeans. I dare to question whether they...

    Least Favourite Royal Wedding Dress

The veil is quite big, but I think the dress is fine. Not the best I have seen ...and the style reminds me of Mathide's dress.

Alex's mum looks a little fragile. I hope her health is ok as I have heard that her father was not very well last year. :(

    English Speaking Royals

Thank you for sharing this with me. :) I really appreciate learning about the history of immigration where people from around the world had settled down in an English speaking country. It's a shame that you feel you have not done more to preserve your heritage, but don't give up, I am sure...

Princess Pavlos, Marie Chantal's Fashion and Style Part 1: February 2003 - June 2013

Exactly. ;) If I have a billionaire father, I am sure I will be much better dressed than her. :D I think it's very laughable to call her a crown princess - or even princess as Greece is a republic. She does not get it and loves to act the part of being a CP which is why she's getting my...

    Relationship between Mary and Alexandra

The official line is that Alex had waited to have children because she wanted to make sure that she was well settled in first, which makes a lot of sense to me as I would not personally have a child if I have to move to a country where I am unfamiliar with the language, culture and politics. I...

Princess Alexandra, Current Events 2: May 2005 - April 2006

Very true. No matter how good the logical reasoning behind it may sound, I can see how Danes might be very offended.

Princess Alexandra, Current Events 2: May 2005 - April 2006

English is Alex's mother tongue and she's also fluent in German, and I hope the little princes will be able to utilise this advantage. :p I was hoping it would be enough for the princes to learnt to speak Danish at school/kindergarden. Is the interview available online? I would...

    English Speaking Royals

BTW, I am British and I am not criticising the RF just for the sake of it. I genuinely feel that the GB are terrible at languages and considering globlisation etc this will prove to be a huge handicap and the RF esp the young ones are not setting high standards. We have just been lucky because...

    English Speaking Royals

As far as I know, it is not widely known that the Queen speaks fluent French and I have not known any public occassions where she's been reported to have spoken French fluently. Yes, Philip probably speaks one or two other languages, but he's actually foreign (related to the Greek RF). I...

    English Speaking Royals

BTW, I think its shameful that most royals from Europe (and many outside of Europe, including Rania & Masako) can speak English so well whilst the British RF can only manage English. It tells a lot about the failures of the BR education system and the British attitude towards the rest of the...
