    The Monarchy under Charles

I think Charles has more of a handle on the situatino and the position than any of us knows. I am looking forward to King Charles though I agree with some posters that he ought to keep his political views in check.

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge: Tour of Canada - June 30-July 8, 2011

Indeed. however I believe from what I have seen of the couple they both have some very well screwed on heads. Bully for them!

    Sarah's Interviews and Television Appearances

Actually, this isn't the first time Sarah has done something like this she's trekked across a desert before on horseback. (I can't remember which one, Sahara or kalahari.) However, for all her grit, kahunas, and determination finances and her personal life just aren't her strong suit.

Options for Sarah to recover from the 'Cash for Access' scandal

Funny they placed that article next to the Pam Churchill one, NaP. IMO, Sarah could have learned alot from that Courtesean. :whistling:

The Duchess of Cornwall Current Events 13: January 2010-September 2013

Perhaps Renata is referring to all the money Charles spent on Camilla to get her hair done, teeth worked on, clothing etc. when they were propping her up for public acceptance and duty when she first graced his arm before they married.

    The Monarchy under Charles

Copy that. And I would only add that with the Duchess of Cornwall by his side as a true helpmate, he can only be a successful monarch (though long may QEII reign!!).

Could Nicholas II have changed the Imperial Succession?

I think (key word here--think!) the reason was that Peter the Great and Catherine had so many children die that anybody who was left alive was all right with them to rule. This is an excellent question as far as women ruling because Catherine II was certainly very intelligent, well read and...

Options for Sarah to recover from the 'Cash for Access' scandal

I would gladly let Sarah go about her life were it productive, however Russo keeps hearing "Andrew and I are best pals" "Andrew and I are divorced to each other not from each other" etc. etc. IMO, She's not letting go.

Princess Beatrice of York Current Events 14: July 2011-December 2013

Not quite, D, it was Wedgewood china. I remember because Sarah was on Regis and Kathy Lee (before Kelly replaced her) and actually turned a cup upside down and stood on it to prove how strong the china was.

Options for Sarah to recover from the 'Cash for Access' scandal

Well I can see how that looks: You know, bumbling, fumbling Sarah, poor Sarah hasn't got a pot to piss in Sarah and btw Your Majesty, can you help me out a bit here before I rock the boat a little harder? Yes, i can see how that can be construed as blackmail.

Prince Andrew, Duke of York Current Events 6: July 2011-February 2015

How do you know? I think a King Charles III would be fine no matter the history. This modern generation doesn't know its history anyway so the negative implications are rather moot IMO. I am also interested in King Charles III's take on his brother and What Andrew's role will be under the new...

Tsar Nicholas II (1868-1918) and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna (Alix) (1872-1918)

No, but they certainly are different. Just read Elif Batuman's book "The Possessed". Really describes the complex Russian psyche. Fasinating. They are such a study in polar opposites. Also, I wanted to finish a bio. On Moura Budberg (lover of Gorky and HG Wells) and she was the same. (Somebody...

:previous:Won't that be an interesting comparison: Wills and Kate Media SuperStars and doing diplomatically, and with decorum what Royals ought to be doing, and Sarah and her myriad of problems aired out for all to see. :whistling:

Honey, read Starkey's book on Sarah and then Jane Wolfe's "BLood Rich" on Lynn Wyatt. Then you'll see. There are just some things one does NOT do when one is an HRH.

Do you have a lending library near by? You ought to check it out and they DO have sales of books from the library at least once a year to re coup costs of the outlay.
