They were outside for, what, 2 minutes max? I think they'll be fine. Some years they wear furs/capes, some years they don't.

I'm so glad that Sofia's tiara is so flexible and versatile. As the family grows and the young Princesses get older, it'll be good for Sofia to have a tiara she can do so much with. Fingers crossed they get her sapphires and rubies to add to it as well :flowers:

They were married in 2012, but yes, it is the same gown (to my eyes). I agree that it all looks much better this time around.

Very nice to see this for a third time. I am not a huge lace person, but I quite like this gown.

It is very odd that Camilla did not receive an order, as the wife of the heir. I would have wondered if the Spanish were trying a new way of giving orders ala Belgium or Sweden, but since they gave Harry an order, I just don't get it. I get why the British are stingy, it's just the way they are...

They did indeed, in April. And looks like those that were given a Spanish Order had received it prior to this state visit, so it doesn't appear they gave any new ones in Japan.

exactly. I can't think of a lady who has worn the collar on her bare skin. It's likely uncomfortable and not good looking. I would have liked it if she had tucked her sash in and pulled up the one side of the collar, but I'm nitpicking.

Love the blue coat today in Germany. Almost the same as the red coat she first wore in Canada in 2011, just a different lapel shape. I'd love to see more of the dress underneath, it looks gorgeous.

there's a 2 year difference between Stephanie and Kate. It's not that big of a deal. I generally like Stephanie's style. It's not always things I would wear, but that's true of all the women. The red dress she wore was just wonderful. A good style for her.

Marie wears the worst fascinators. She always looks like a little girl playing with headwear. It's terrible. Her dress is gorgeous, but it does seem, in some of the photos, that it was Marie's day as opposed to Felix's day.

I just love this dress. She had a great thing going where she wore it once a year until last year, so I'm glad to see it again.

Yes, she is recycling her gold Jesper Hovring gown. She wore it for a portrait that was released in August 2016 and for the 2017 New Years Court. I do love the dress, but as she just wore it with the Ruby Parure, I would have preferred a different gown. (like the silver one from her pre-wedding...

probably because Marie is the second spouse of Joachim? It is different because I haven't seen it given often. Johan Ferner, Astrid of Norway's husband, has it. But not many others. Plus Marie has not had the chance to become close to Mathilde & Philippe, likely.
