Tiara & Jewels guessing for upcoming events 1: Oct 2009 - Dec 2015

I'm curious; if this tiara is still owned by Viscount Linley, how did Kate wind up wearing it?

    The Duchess of Cambridge's Eveningwear Part 5: October 2013 - October 2015

Finally, the day all have been waiting for - Kate finally wore a tiara post-wedding! It really looks lovely from what you can see of it.

Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie's Fashion & Style Part 3: June - December 2013

I really like Stephanie's softly waving hair and makeup, but agree that the style and color dress is too old for her.

    Princess Letizia's Daytime Fashion Part 29: November 2013 - June 2014

I like the snakeskin accessories as well; the pattern looks nice with the solid red dress which looks great on Letizia. And I agree about how her haircut suits her so well with the layers and shorter length.

Grace, Caroline, Charlotte, Alexandra. . . it's all in the genes!

Hmm, put a short blonde wig on Charlotte and I'd have to agree with you, especially with the first two photos. There's something about the faraway expression, the set of the mouth and tilt of the head that's very evocative of Grace.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester Current Events 2: January 2006-Sep 2022

Thanks for all these updates on the Gloucesters, Iceflower. I really admire this couple's work ethic and diligence to their charities and may I say that it's absolutely fabulous to see Joanna Lumley at the Speedo Charity Swim event. ;)

    Queen Máxima's Daytime Fashion Part 3: November 2013 - April 2014

I never thought I'd see an outfit swamp Maxima, but that long maxi coat sure did. It looked way too bulky on her. And I do like the blue-green sheath dress, but not the sleeves.

    Princess Charlene Jewels 1: 2010 - 2023

^^^Now that's something I'm looking forward to seeing in the new year!

Duchess of Cornwall Jewellery 7: September 2011- December 2015

^^^That pink tourmaline and pearl choker with the matching earrings is one of my all-time favorite pieces. I'm also looking forward to seeing Camilla wear the Teck Crescent Tiara; it's been lurking too long in the vault!

    Queen Máxima Jewels 1: 2013 - 2021

While that's a beautiful necklace, it doesn't look like the piece from the Dutch parure. Max's doesn't have the geometric sapphire insets in the necklace portion and it's not a flat design like the 1900 piece. It's also has dangling diamonds, it seems, as well. Altogether, the front portion is a...

    Press reports: Norwegian Divorce Rumours

I'm going to wait for official confirmation before pulling the plug on this marriage.

    Queen Máxima's Eveningwear, Part 1: April 2013 - April 2014

Yes, Humera, I think that Maxima maxes out on her outfits at times.

    The Duchess of Cambridge's Eveningwear Part 5: October 2013 - October 2015

I don't care for this dress at all. The only thing I liked was the red clutch, but even that didn't accessorize well with the outfit.

Duchess of Cornwall Jewellery 7: September 2011- December 2015

I'd love to see a return of that gorgeous aquamarine drop necklace as well as that luscious turquoise piece. Wearing more of those diamond necklaces wouldn't be amiss, too!

    The Tudors

I recently read "Tudor" by Leanda de Lisle that devoted a good portion of the book to Margaret Tudor and her daughter Margaret Douglas. Henry VIII overlooked his sister and her children in the line of succession because of the Scottish link and the Catholic angle, favoring instead his younger...

Richard III (1452-1485): Discovery of Remains and Reburial

If Richard loved York and the North and spent much of his time there, then it seems a given that that's where he should be buried - at York Minster. And that goes for the wishes of current royals as well.
