General News for the Cambridge Family Part 3: March 2017-September 2022

Well, considering most of engagements during that period were phonecalls and zooms, technically there's no reason why the older royals couldn't do it. (Unless they preferred to do it in in-person engagement, hence it's all packed up in the second half of the year when it's possible to do it).

General News for the Cambridge Family Part 3: March 2017-September 2022

I'm thinking it's about media exposure. It can be said that currently the Cambridges are hot commodity. Even with just releasing a photograph without doing any engagement that qualify to be put in CC, they still make front page. And it should also be noted that the Cambridges have different type...

As expected. But then again, IMO MoS didn't really expect to win this appeal to begin with. They push this appeal so they can "present" the text and emails in the court. By presenting it before the court of law, it makes it more legitimate than if they published it directly in their paper. And...

The Princes and the Press - Two Part BBC documentary 2021

The Telegraph just dropped this in my email: Princes and the Press: Sussexes never intended to 'become Trappist monks and take vow of silence' Archive: https://archive.ph/OOQ3A I can't help to wonder whether the reason is actually the palace's reaction or the last revelation in form of...

Royal women and other female public figures used in domestic violence campaign

Indeed. Which is why consent from the party involved IS important and necessary. Giving consent means they know the risk and the ramifications and willing to face it (which should also take into consideration the effect on ppl around them). I'm thin no matter how much I ate which make a a...

Royal women and other female public figures used in domestic violence campaign

The thing is, Muhler, in this specific case, there's already some fraction who believe that her husband cheated on her and involved in a smearing campaign against his own brother, so next time she wears a thicker make-up who know if a speculation would resurface about her trying to cover the...

    Succession and Membership Issues

Well, at least it.means they infused "new blood" into the Imperial family after the long intermarriage with the Fujiwara clan. I post the list of the Tokugawa-IF marriage here. And that's not all, only the main branches and several from collateral branch which I find interesting.

    Japanese Noble and Daimyo Clans

Marriage Between Tokugawa Clan and the Imperial Family To secure their hegemony, the three shogunates had their own way in affiliating with the palace. The Kamakura shogunate did it by putting (toddler) prince or noble as shōgun with the head of Hōjō clan having the de facto power as their...

(Move it here since it’s more about membership than Mako). Okay, I have to make correction here. By law, no. You have to renounce your Japanese citizenship if you acquired foreign one. But it doesn't stop some people from having two passports. Just don't advertise it if you do. Which in Mako's case (and her husband too), it wouldn't look good if the media catch them doing it. I remember...
