I doubt that they would let other patients suffer or be at risk because Letizia is there. She has as much right to be in a hospital setting to ensure the safe delivery of her child. At least they are preparing and people won't have to be moved in a rush when the time comes.

I agree with you Elspeth. I don't think there will be any demonstrations against the royal visit. There won't be the same hysteria as when Diana visited. I think it will be just a normal state visit that will get it's 30 second new blurb and that's it.

This is so exciting. I have set my TIVO to record all showings of the news from Spain. I love that my satellite gets the Spanish TV station.

I don't think they were locked in a passionate kiss. I think they were giving each other a kiss on each cheek.

I particularly don't like large tiara's, like the one Camilla wore. She looked good and the tiara is neautiful but I found it a bit too large. Queen Silvia of Sweden carries off wearing large tiara's very well. Perhaps it is her face structure and/or the way she wears her hair.

No Diana, did not wear a tiara to the White House dinner. That state dinner was the one she wore the saphire and pearl choker with the saphire blue gown. That was the dinner she danced with John Travolta. SHe wore the Lover's knot tiara at the dinner hosted at the British EMbassy.

I believe that the protocol is that she doesn't wear a tiara at the State dinner but if there is a formal dinner at the British embassy she wears one then.

I think William has done a great job of not creating negative publicity for the family. It seems to me that he has had a pretty normal college life (as far as he is able to in his situation) and has turned out to be a fine young man.
