It’s surprising to me that for the 40th year, there wasn’t at least one of the siblings or their family members accompanying Albert. I know Stephanie has been away in support of her AIDS charity work, but really, someone other than Jazmin should have been in attendance.

I know what you mean about Jazmin. There's no harm in her attending but it's not appropriate for her to be standing with Albert as though she's representing the family with him. I think both her and Alexandre would like official roles and allowing stuff like this will only encourage that notion.
Considering the Princess Grace Foundation-USA is in it's 40th year is impressive, initially thanks to Prince Ranier and now Prince Albert. The Foundation supports artists in the field of dance, theater, and film through unrestricted cash grants. Michael Douglas was presented with the Prince Ranier III award. Guests were there to pay tribute to the 2023 and 2024 Princess Grace Award winners. The only other guests I recognized were actress Brenda Vacarro now 84, a long-time close friend of Michael Douglas and of course Bernadette Peters. Unfortunately I notice Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg Lippe was also there, what?? Assuming he was a guest of one of the wealthy benefactors.More Instagram pics from PGA. What is a benefactor patron? This guy Mario Schaumburg Lippe is a fraud, we have discussed his case somewhere else in this forum. But, unfortunately there are always lots of people circling and mingling with and around the rich and famous, don't know how they manage it. Prince Albert could probably not inquire of the guest list before. Mario Max is such a joke, I was shocked to see him at the award dinner! I originally thought the only way he got in to the event was on the backs of one of the mega donors who added him to their table. But, not the case. If you look at the Princess Grace website I provided, it lists him as a "benefactor patron" meaning he actually gave money to the foundation, which could be as little as <$2,500. Considering what a worthy and important event this is, one bad apple got through the cracks. He makes Jazmin look like a legitimate princess, almost. (bad joke!).
