About the unseen photo,
"Se og Hør has checked the metadata on the image. According to them, the photo was taken on 8 January 2019.
Communications adviser at the Castle, Sara Svanemyr, tells Se og Hør that "the new official photo was taken in 2023".

Stunning photo but it’s terrible of the Norwegian Royal Court to claim it was taken in 2023 when it was clearly not…

Everything can be checked nowdays…

It is taken by the same photographer who took Sverre Magnus photos for his 18th birthday in 2023 who the court has not published photos by before, the dress also has the same pattern as the coronation outfit made by the same designer also in 2023. I dont understand about metadata but I do not think the court would lie when asked specifcally about it. Mette Marit also had much shorter hair in the start of 2019. Imo it is a recent photo.

At a garden party in 2016, King Harald V delivered a much-loved speech about the diversity and unity of Norwegians. One particularly renowned line from that speech (readers of this forum may recognize it from poster Royal Norway's signature) was:

"Norwegians are girls who love girls, boys who love boys, and girls and boys who love each other."

Reacting to recent events, the season premier of the "Nytt for Nytt" program spoofed the 2016 garden party speech by dubbing over footage of that line with:

"Norwegians are boys who hit girls they love, take cocaine, and go off to party in Italy. And Norwegians are boys and girls who sell the image rights to their wedding to the British tabloid press and hide their wedding dress with a big, white sheet."

(Between this and VG's "fairy tale (based on a true story)", it seems the upside of the monarchy's troubles is that Norwegian comedy is having a brilliant time.)

Where can I find information about King Harald's 18th birthday celebrations?

Prince Harald did not have an 18th birthday celebration, then the age was 21, which was clebrated with a big gala. It was the last time his grandmother Princess Ingeborg wore the tiara Ingrid Alexandra got for her 18th birthday.

On Saturday evening, Durek was with King Harald and Queen Sonja at Folketeateret in the center of Oslo, obviously they saw the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar".
Well, Durek probably pointed out one of the disciples and said: That was me in one of my previous lives.

He went with King Harald and Queen Sonja, he simply couldn't be happier.

Say what you want, but Durek is living the "American dream," sort off...
He has gone from convict and abuser to rubbing shoulders with majesties. Quite a feat actually.

I should laugh but I can only manage some croaking sounds.
