Pavlos and Marie-Chantal and Family Current Events Part 9: January 2022 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
It seems her two eldest sons and her daughter were there, as well as the Argentinian polo player friend of the Duke of Sussex. It appears the party was in Southampton USA and not in Southampton in England indeed.

No mourning at all !

It seems not, but realistically, how many people would be in mourning for a 1st cousin of a husbands grandfather?

Recent photos of Prince Pavlos in Athens.

Yesterday, September 12, Marie-Chantal attended a dinner as part of London Fashion Week:

Marie-Chantal and Jessica de Rothschild hosted a reception in New York City on behalf of USA for UNHCR this week:

Following Princess Theodora's wedding last Saturday, Crown Prince Pavlos, spent a few days in Athens before travelling to the United States. With time to enjoy autumn Athens, he visited the Museum of the City of Athens - Vouros-Eutaxia Foundation, known as the "Old Palace"

I seem to remember that the bust of King Pavlos was donated to this museum by the Anyvruta Alumni Association (a very famous boarding school in Athens with the monarchy) in 2019. It was King Constantine who presided over the event.

Yesterday, while in Germany, Crown Prince Pavlos, accompanied by Prince Ludwig of Bavaria, visited the Munich Glyptothek, an archaeological museum originally built by the Bavarian King Ludwig I, (father of King Otto of Greece).

Prince Achilleas-Andreas accompanied his father.

Nice to see Prince Ludwig there too.

At the kind invitation from Prince Louis and Sophie of Bavaria, descendants of King Otto, I had a wonderful weekend in Munich, the capital of Bavaria. I had the opportunity to tour some of the city’s exceptional sites, including the famous ancient Greek collection near the Victory Arch in honor of the Greek heroes of the 1821 independence revolution, the Nymphenburg Palace and its porcelain workshop, and the Museum of Modern & Contemporary Art. I also experienced the Oktoberfest and had the opportunity to meet members of the Greek community and attend Sunday Service with them in the Orthodox Church. A former Catholic church that was donated to the Orthodox Greek community by King Louis in 1828. At that time Munich had less than a thousand Greeks and today our community consists of about 30,000 Greeks in Munich, plus another 20 to 30,000 who, while no longer holding Greek passports, continue to embrace their heritage.

I believe that is the Princess of Hanover, next to Prince Achileas Andreas on the 2nd photo.

Yes, it's Ekaterina. Ernest Jr, Christian and their families (their mother Chantal included) seem to be very very close to their Greek cousins.

Crown Prince Pavlos participated in the Eighth Sustainability Summit for SE Europe & the Mediterranean, organized by Economist Impact in partnership with SDSN Greece, which took place on October 14 and 15, 2024, in Athens.
