Other Royal and Noble Weddings

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
It seems that Duke Franz, Prince Ludwig and his wife Princess Sophie-Alexandra also attended the wedding.

Hi, I couldn't find any info about the upcoming wedding of Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster and Olivia Henson which will be held in June 7th. Do the couple already have their own thread here?

There was no thread yet but I just created one.

Archduke Pál of Austria married Antonia Lütz in Bonn on July 27th.

The groom is the son of Archduke István and his wife Paola de Temesváry, István is the son of the late AD Felix and his wife Pss Anna-Eugénie of Arenberg. The bride is the daughter of Manfred Lütz & Pss Isabelle zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg.

Among the guests was the Duchess of Brabant, Infante Afonso and Intante Diniz of Portugal, duchess Amelie von Württemberg & Franz von Feilitzsch, countess Isabel von Waldburg Wolfegg und Waldsee, Prince Guillaume & Princess Sibilla with their children Paul Louis & Charlotte, Archduke Simeon & Maria of the Two Sicilies & sons, Archduke Karl-Peter and his wife Pss Alexandra von Wrede, Archduke Conbstanza, Pss Auersperg-Trautson. And of the Palatinate branch, Archduke Michael and his wife Christiane, who herself is a Pss of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg.

It seems the main line of the Habsburg family was absent.

Yes nobody from the Main branch but also nobody from the descendants of Archduke Robert. Also there was Archduke Paul who was one of the Priests at the Wedding. Also attending the Fürst of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, with his daughter-in-law Stephanie and of her daughters.

Archduke Paul performs many weddings in his own circles, he must have very busy summers!

They also featured in Point de Vue:

And Noblesse & Royautés has some photos of the parents of the couple:

the groom's mother is Verena von Stein zu Lausnitz. It seems the family has the title of 'Freiherr'.

The bride seems to have three elder brothers, who are not married yet.

Nice to see an oldenburg wedding. The Nothern German former royal families in general seem less exposed to publicity that some dynasties from the South.

Unfortunately the Wedding was keept very secret. Someone i know was there and not even the people in Rastede know about it.

Thanks for sharing! How do you know when and where a royal/noble wedding will take place? And do the guests ever object to being photographed? Elisabeth didn't look too pleased, but that could be a coincidence :)

Looks like the couple is close to the Portuguese royals. At other recent royal or noble weddings we saw Infanta Maria Francisca and Duarte, so, they definitely seem to move in those circles.

Happy to see our Crown Princess attending a Habsbourg Wedding and being among the highest Noblity , some were wearing the Order of the Glolden Fleece and the Ladies the Starry Cross .

The Braganzas also descend from the Löwensteins and the Habsburgs from the Hungarian line have married members of the Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg. Infanta Maria Francisca, Dinis and Afonso are the paternal great-grandchildren of Princess Maria Theresa of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg

And there is the connection via the mother of Empress Zita who was also a Braganza

Princess Eugenie of York, Prince Philippos, Princess Nina & Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece, Prince Napoleon, Hereditary Princess Ekaterina & Princess Alessandra of Hanover were among the Guests at the Wedding of Countess Annina Bruges von Pfuel and Caspar von Veltheim in Bavaria.

Thank you for the article and photos ,the choir St. Peter und Paul in Mittenwald was such a beautiful setting for the Wedding ceremony!

A look back at the 1993 Religious Wedding of Princess Charlotte of Luxembourg and Cunningham in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in September 1993.
Princess Charlotte of Luxembourg is the eldest daughter of the late Prince Charles of Luxembourg (1927–1977) & Joan Dillon, Duchess of Mouchy.

I like how the flowers of Princess Charlotte's bridal bouquet were strategically placed.

Thank you for clarifying. Did not see it posted in here and only today I managed to take a look at the photos.

Quite a bunch of interesting guests, and her tiara was stunning.

Only the first photo belongs to Hemma and Vincent's wedding, the rest are from Xenia and Guy's.

There have been no pics so far. Apparently there will be a Report in Bunte (according to a photgrapher who was there) but they have postponed reporting about it again and again

Well, there are pictures for sure. I won't argue about it because I know what I've seen.
