:previous: Since he was standing in for the King I should imagine that is the standard default. Had the Queen been standing in it would have been written the other way around. If any knowledgeable Norwegian royalist could confirm that it would be of interest.

That is written in Nynorsk BTW.

Nynorsk (New Norwegian) is one of the two official written standards of Norwegian. And between 10 and 15% of the population have it as their official language form.

As long as CP Haakon is regent, then he will always be listed before the Queen.

Under the Constitution, the Crown Prince is automatically the regent if he is an adult and available, so it would not occur the other way around. :flowers:

I ettermiddag gikk Hans Majestet Kongen, Hennes Majestet Dronningen og Hans Kongelige Høyhet Kronprinsen om bord på Kongeskipet Norge. Dermed er årets sesong i gang for mannskap og befal.

"This afternoon, King Harald, Queen Sonja and Crown Prince Haakon boarded the Norwegian Royal Ship. Thus, this year's season is underway for crew and commanders.

Already tomorrow is the first sailing. The world's only two royal ships sail together in the Oslofjord when King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark arrive in Oslo and Norway with the Royal Ship Dannebrog.
During embarkation, the Crown Prince inspected the ship to see if it was ready for use. The tradition of a solemn embarkation as the start of the ship's season goes back to 1948 when King Haakon VII received "Norge" as a gift from the Norwegian people."

NRK has made a poll and asked the people to grade the royals on a scale from 1-10 where 10 is the best. The King is super popular after his sickleave and having a reduced agenda and gets 9,2.
Haakon 8,8
Sonja 8,5
Ingrid Alexandra 8,1
Mette-Marit 7,6

Lots of photos from the recent county visits where large parts of the people living showed up, and everyone having praise for the King.

I was surprised to see Martha Louise. I was shocked to see Durek.
Neither are listed on the official calendar but officially welcoming the Belgium princess., the NRF needs to draw stricter lines in my book.

The official welcome was from Haakon. ML can be viewed as more-or-less any other Norwegian greeting the visitor... probably.

Well, I don’t like Durek, because for me he’s a con artist. But I’m not shocked by his presence, he is a husband of a royal daughter. Martha Louisa is not a working royal, but I see nothing wrong with her greeting or just meeting Astrid. I think the main reason for ML to be here is that her daughter Emma participated in the competition.
BTW, I didn’t know that Emma was an equestrian.🌼

"Physically ill" is a polite way of describing how I feel. He's sitting at the bottom with a certain orange-hued felon as far as "amoral con men" are concerned.

Just imagine after they are married. Durek will be weaseling himself onto the royal platform/ limelight any chance he gets compliments of his marriage to ML. The grifting con man is just getting started. Yuk!
 
Sverre Magnus and Leah Isadora have their graduation ceremony from Elvebakken school today in Oslo concert building, we will see if we get photos like we did when Ingrid graduated last year. Its though strange that her mother and Durek are wedding planning in Geiranger today, strange occasion to miss unless they have made it back.

Drilloppvising på Slottsplassen

I sommar har musikk- og drilltroppen i Hans Majestet Kongens Garde hatt drilloppvisingar for publikum framfor Slottet. I dag var Hans Majestet Kongen, Hennar Majestet Dronninga og Den Høgvørde Kronprinsen på plass på Slottsbalkongen for å sjå oppvisinga.

It's so lovely to see King Harold's smiling face as he and Queen Sonja and the Crown Prince meet with the Emir of Qatar. Qatar has been of major importance negotiating a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
