Dutch King Willem-Alexander today attended a service at the Indian Monument in The Hague, to commemorate the seventieth anniversary of Japan’s surrender in World War Two. The King, accompanied by Prime Minister Mark Rutte, laid the first wreath in honour of the victims of Japanese occupation at the monument during the service.
