Princess Anne takes the Torch in Athens at Olympic Handover

The Princess Royal, President of the British Olympic Association, took the Olympic torch from Spyros Capralos, in the Panathenaic Stadium yesterday. Other members of the British delegation included David Beckham, Boris Johnson, Lord Coe, and Hugh Robertson – all beaming with pride as they took part in the historic ceremony. Prince Nikolai to represent Denmark in Innsbruck Torch Relay

Prince Nikolai of Denmark, Count of Monpezat, the elder son of Prince Joachim and of his former wife, Countess Alexandra of Frederiksborg, née Manley, will represent, along with 2 other Danish children, Denmark and it’s young athletes in the torch relay of the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games on 13 January 2012.
