Former Romanian King Breaks Ties with German Princely House

King Michael I, the 89-year-old former King of Romania, issued a royal decree on Tuesday May 10th, stating that the Romanian Royal Family would no longer be connected to the House of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, the German Princely House from whom the royal family descends. Prince William Becomes Duke of Cambridge

From today, Romania has a new Prince; he is Nicholas de Roumanie Medforth-Mills, grandson of former King Michael I and third in the line of succession to the (defunct) Romanian throne. Prince Radu’s Support Ratings Hits Double Digits for First Time

New Crown Prince Named for Jordan

Jordan’s King Abdullah II issued a decree on Thursday naming his eldest son, Hussein, 15 years old, as crown prince. In a palace statement that was released yesterday said “immediately assume the title and privileges of his post”.
