Prince Laurent Will Be Absent From King’s Feast

Prince Laurent, the enfant terrible of Belgium’s royal family, will be absent from the Te Deum for the King’s Feast on November 15th. The palace confirmed the absence to VTM News. It is unclear why the prince will be absent. In September the attorney of Laurent said that the prince was too ill to meet the Belgian Prime Minister. The annual Fête du Roi celebrations were held in Belgium today, with members of the royal family attending a Te Deum service at the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula in Brussels. The annual King’s Feast celebration has taken place in Belgium today, with King Albert, Queen Paola, Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz attending the Te Deum at the Cathédrale des Saints-Michel-et-Gudule.
