The parents of Thailand’s former Crown Princess, Srirasmi Suwadee, were arrested last week on charges of lèse-majesté. Apiruj and Wanthanee Suwadee pled guilty to the charges of defaming the monarchy, lodging a malicious claim and asking officials to file false charges. Thai Royal In-Laws Stripped Of Royally-Bestowed Name

The Crown Prince of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn, has officially stripped his wife’s family of the royally-bestowed name that he gave them upon their marriage.
