The Throne of a Chinese Emperor from Qing Dynasty’s Qianlong period was sold at Sotheby’s for record-braking $11 million – the highest price for any Chinese piece of furniture ever sold. Swedish news agencies report that a collection of jewels have surfaced in the Swedish Foreign Ministry’s storage rooms. The jewels are worth over 2 million Euros and belonged to the Russian Imperial Family.
