Dutch, Spanish Monarchs Host Foreign Leaders

The Kings and Queens of the Netherlands and Spain both hosted foreign leaders at their respective palaces today. In Wassenaar, Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima gave an audience to Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India at their home, Villa Eikenhorst. Meanwhile, in Madrid, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia gave a luncheon for visiting Slovenian President Borut Pahor at Zarzuela Palace.

Prince Albert II Joins A Football Match For Charity

On Sunday, Prince Albert II of Monaco joined Slovenian President Borut Pahor in a football match in the village of Bilje in western Slovenia. All the funds raised at the event will go to medical equipment and supplies for the maternity hospital in Šempeter pri Gorici and to the department of disabled youth of Nova Gorica General hospital. State Visit to Slovenia

Yesterday the Norwegian King Harald V and his wife Queen Sonja started their 2-day State Visit to Slovenia. The Royal couple was formally welcomed President Türk and Mrs Miklič Türk at Brdo Castle about 30 kilometres outside the capital city of Ljubljana.
