Mathilde voted most popular European princess by PdV

Princess Mathilde was voted the most popular and best future Queen Consort by a poll of the French royalty magazine Point de Vue. She received 47,8% of the votes, and led the poll by a large margin. Second in the poll was the Dutch Princess Máxima (21,1%), closely followed by Letizia, the Princess of Asturias (17,8%). Today Princess Máxima visited the Waerden Borch School in Holten to attend a presentation on “Girls and Technology”. The visit was to learn more about the field of technology and how girls can get involved. A jogger was arrested recently near Villa Eikenhorst, home of the prince of Orange and his family. The jogger wanted to lock his bicycle to one of the fences of the private estate, so he could jog in part of the estate ‘De Horsten’ that is open to the public. The Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima attended the premiere of the theatre production ‘MAPENZI Tamu’ (‘Sweet Love’) at the RAI Theatre in Amsterdam last night. Parents of Máxima Are Not Moving To Huis ten Bosch Palace

Princess Máxima Visits Oss

Princess Máxima visited the Dutch town of Oss on February 12. The Princess visited ‘The Inner’ cultural centre where she was informed of project work in the community, before awarding the town with a prize for their participation and citizenship in 2008. The town won the prize for the manual their residents developed on initiatives they are making in their town.

According to the Argentinian press the Dutch crown princely couple bought a farm called Estancia Pilpilcura in Pilcaniyeu, Argentina, for the amount of 3,5 million dollars. The rumours are not denied by the RVD.
