In Wassenaar, Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima gave an audience to Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India at their home, Villa Eikenhorst. Meanwhile, in Madrid, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia gave a luncheon for visiting Slovenian President Borut Pahor at Zarzuela Palace.

The Dutch Royal Court has announced that King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima will pay a state visit to Portugal later this year upon the invitation of the Portuguese President, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. The couple will visit between October 10 and 12, accompanied by the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, who will be running an economic mission parallel to the state visit.
