Dutch, Spanish Monarchs Host Foreign Leaders

The Kings and Queens of the Netherlands and Spain both hosted foreign leaders at their respective palaces today. In Wassenaar, Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima gave an audience to Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India at their home, Villa Eikenhorst. Meanwhile, in Madrid, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia gave a luncheon for visiting Slovenian President Borut Pahor at Zarzuela Palace.

A Spot of Lime: Queen Máxima Attends Neurology Congress

Last Day in Italy for the Dutch Royal Couple

Today, Friday June 23, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima spent the last day of the state visit in Milan. Queen Máxima paid a visit today to TOBROCO, the winner of the King Willem I Prize 2016 in the category of small and medium-sized enterprises. Queen Máxima of the Netherlands was present for the opening performance of the 70th Holland Festival on Saturday evening at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. Dutch King and Queen to Visit Portugal In October

The Dutch Royal Court has announced that King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima will pay a state visit to Portugal later this year upon the invitation of the Portuguese President, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. The couple will visit between October 10 and 12, accompanied by the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, who will be running an economic mission parallel to the state visit.
