King of Bhutan Performs Ritual for New Law School

His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan today performed a “ground-breaking ceremony” (Sa-Lhang Tendrel) for the Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law at Pangbisa in Paro, west of Thimphu.  It will be the first School of Law in the country. Princess Sirindhorn Visits Bhutan

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand has started a four-day official visit to Bhutan this week, arriving at Paro International Airport yesterday where she was greeted by Princess Sonam Dechan Wangchuck.  Afterwards, the Princess took the opportunity of visiting the Kyichu Monastery in Paro to take some photographs and to view the magnificent scenery of Taktshang.
