Princess Shahnaz Pahlavi Turns 75

Today Princess Shahnaz Pahlavi celebrates her 75th birthday. She was born in Tehran in 1940 as the only child of Mohammed Reza, the Shah of Iran, and his first wife, Princess Fawzia of Egypt. Her parents officially divorced when she was eight years old, Shahnaz staying in Iran with her father until she went to Switzerland to study before she married Ardeshir Zahedi at the age of 17 in 1957.
